Dog-Friendly Home near Wallowa Lake w/Wraparound Deck, Free WiFi, Great Location

The outside trash can was overflowing on arrival. Note sent to property manager. Discovered no hot water !! Another note sent to prop manager. No hand towels in bathrooms. Only beach towels and wash rags. No towels in the kitchen. Paper towels only.House didn’t seem to warm up on first night running heater. The next morning I discovered upstairs bathroom window was left wide open. Closed window much more comfortable. Prop manager sent reply at 1:33am apologizing for the lack of cleanliness and hot water issues. Letting me know that he would notify the local team to correct the situation. The on Saturday mid morning I received another text from prop manager advising that these matters had been reported to the team and prop manager would follow up with me when they had more information. The next text I received was Saturday evening and was the standard reminder that checkout time is 10am and what we needed to do before departure. So, no meaningful response to our needs. No communication from the local team. Nothing!!Today May 17th is our 29th anniversary this weekend was a surprise trip for my wife. Well it was a surprise indeed. The two night stay cost over 900.00 and I feel we should have been treated like our stay mattered. We will not be conducting business with Avari in the future. The cabin was wonderful. It was extremely clean, and had everything you could want as far as kitchen appliances, dishes, cookware and everything to clean up after use. We had a totally relaxing stay. It is within walking distance to the Wallowa State Park, the Lake and the tramway. The deck is nice and large which the dogs loved. We were able to see many Bluejays that landed on the deck railing. Also visits from deer and ground squirrels.The bed is extremely comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep. The bathroom shower is so relaxing after a long days hike with lots of nice hot water. This cabin is definitely recommended.

Cabin in the Pines was nice, clean and close to Wallowa Lake. Easy to find and a fun cabin to stay at. We saw a lot of animals and love the big windows in the living room.

Cabin is close to everything and was great for my mobility challenged mom. She was able to park right by the front door and get inside without a lot of stairs.

The house was clean and comfortable. The upstairs was great for the grandchildren. The location of the house was nice as we were able to walk to everything that we needed. It was just far enough off the road to be quiet and private.

Everything from the listing is accurate. Great location and respectful neighbors. Lots of space inside and outside to spend time with family.

Nice location and a solid place to stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay at Wallowa Lake.

It was a cute cabin that came with several problems. Upstairs air conditioning doesn’t work. This made for several nights of terrible sleep. No screens on the windows means bugs and flies. We were very dissatisfied with this situation. We were told there might be some sort of reimbursement but we have heard nothing.

The beds were quite comfortable at the Cabin in the Pines, and it was clean. Be sure to press the buttons on the door lock quickly in order for it to work. Good location.

We loved everything about this cabin. Location, service, ease of check in/check out, and Vacasa staff was easily reachable.
