Stayed Oct 17, 2024This home is very well set up for three couples to share. Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed and a TV. The two ground level bedrooms each have ensuite bathrooms, and the main floor bedroom is steps from the main floor bathroom. The mudroom is very large and functional. The dining table seats six. The hot tub is also large, easily able to accomodate 6 adults at once. As for the downsides, the house may not be ideal for the height-challenged. The stairways to the main level are fairly steep. Also the beds are fairly tall, making them a bit hard to climb into if one is short (I am 5'4 and I struggled.) My final observation is that the hot tub is in an enclosure, so not ideal for the claustrophobic, but it is sheltered from the elements.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024Great property but very difficult to work with property manager Vacasa. All the cookware was damaged and we did not receive any until the night before we checked out. Ended up throwing out food we could not cook.

Stayed Mar 20, 2024There is a lot to like about this property - beautiful development, convenient to both ski areas, views of MRG and Mt. Ellen, dog friendly, each bedroom has a private bath, washer/dryer/dishwasher, hot tub, spacious mud room w lots of storage. Unfortunately the complete lack of care by property management made this a terrible experience, and I would recommend against a winter visit. There were 2 significant storms while we were there - 5 inches and 12+ inches, and at no point in the 5 days was any snow clearing done. There was 1 shovel and empty sand bins. I shoveled the entire driveway and all 3 parking areas the upon arrival, but since the very steep driveway needed to be sanded, only the car w studded snow tires could go down. Despite multiple calls, Vacasa never brought sand or managed snow removal (along with several other smaller issues that should have been resolvable). In the second storm we had to shovel a walking path up the driveway, all around the house for hot tub access, and clear the roadside parking ourselves. The EV car in our party had to park in town, as there was only parking for 2 at the road, and the EV charger was inaccessible without snow removal and sanding. I ended up having to stay an extra day because time lost to shoveling and transportation caused so much delay. One of the resolvable issues was that there was not cookware compatible w the induction stovetop, so assume you have to bring your own pots/pans. Great property, atrocious management.

Stayed Mar 7, 2024The property itself is lovely and as advertised, though as other reviews point out, the hot tub is in an enclosed, insulated hut. This trades views of the scenery (which are great, but not from the hot tub) for privacy (which our group enjoyed). What the listing does not say is that the property is approx 3/4 miles up a 7% grade dirt road that is heavily rutted with mud. We made it work, but Vacasa (the property management company) remained very strict on their 10am departure and were unwilling to grant any flexibility during a spring blizzard. If there hadn't been a break in the storm at about 9:30, I'm sure we would have been much later in getting out and the script the customer service staff was working with did not seem to give any leeway for that eventuality. So very glad we didn't need to put that to the test. The property also didn't have nearly enough towels - 5 bath towels and 1 beach towel for a six person stay.

Stayed Feb 26, 2024The proximity to Sugarbush ski resort, boot-room entryway, hot tub and comfy beds made it a great stay for our family ski trip. There are some rustic details and a hilly dirt road and steep driveway but the gorgeous scenery and the relaxing sounds of the bubbling brook nearby totally made up for that! We appreciated the small details that accommodated our dogs. Kitchen was pretty well supplied* for cooking at home & grill worked great as well. (*note to future guests - please don't put the cast iron pans in the dishwasher! Luckily there was some veg oil available so we could still use them!)

Stayed Jan 24, 2024Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing stays I've had in over 10 years of renting. Location is great, but the house is not worth what's being charged per night by Vacasa. Seems like they did the absolute bare minimum to consider this rentable. On top of being over valued, you can utilize arguably the worst located hot tub you could ask for, which is inside an insulated shed that basically turns into a sauna after 5 minutes. For 5 nights/5 adults we were given 1 trash bag with no spares and 2 dishwasher pods which ran out after 3 days. Do better Vacasa.
