Marigold Cottage is just a short walk to the sun, sand, and the beautiful ocean. Located on Tybee’s “main street” on the beach side of Butler Avenue, Marigold Cottage is perfectly located. The home’s mid-island location is across from the Tybee YMCA as well as Tybee Island public park and playground with picnic tables and tennis courts. The beach is just a short walk - 3 houses away!
Marigold offers loads of guest amenities, including a screened porch, a pergola, outside covered-eating area, fenced-in yard, and one of our favorite features - a roof-top deck with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean! Guests - including "furry family members" - will enjoy everything you can think of for a perfect beach vacation, whether it’s a family summer vacation, a girlfriend’s getaway, a guy’s fishing expedition, a work retreat or even a couple’s romantic weekend! Walk to Tybee’s many restaurants or do your best grilling outdoors on the new Weber gas grill! Guests will enjoy a beautiful and spacious kitchen with modern appliances and a roomy dining area with plenty of space for everyone around the table.
Marigold offers four bedrooms - three with queen beds and a master bedroom with king bed - and 3 1/2 newly remodeled bathrooms. There are TVs throughout the cottage, all with Roku and cable - a 39” TV in the kitchen, 65” in the den, 32” TVs in the three bedrooms, and a 43” in the master bedroom. For guest convenience, there’s an additional refrigerator and freezer, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. There’s even off-street parking for four vehicles. Come and visit Marigold cottage, your perfect Tybee getaway!
THINGS TO KNOW
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Its dog friendly but very clean and comfy. Close to beach, groceries. Loved the enclosed porch out of master bedroom.
Very big house for a family, we love the beach we walked everything morning.
The home was lovely with amazing spaces. We will definitely be back!! ❤️
House was 80-82 degrees. No fans were sent. Had to find a new place to stay following day when we had booked for 5 days. We had to take pics of unit because property manager said the unit did not have an AC unit. The listing was advertised as having a unit as well. Was also asked if we would go purchase fans after our 5 hour drive and beginning of our vacation. Very unsatisfied with the stay. The fridge also did not cool because our drinks the following morning were barely cold. Would not recommend.
We couldn't check in until 5pm (original time 4pm) however they allowed us to check out an hour later at the end of the week. This place is perfect for a large family to visit. We loved the house and the easy access to the beach. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
We loved the kitchen and dining area, which was a great place for cooking a family birthday dinner. The family loved having a great TV in every room. And just all the little details, from the parrot in the ceiling of the garage to the beach vibe pictures and decorations.
Marigold Cottage exceeded our expectations for our summer vacation! First time renting a house and with our growing family(8 week old grandson), it was the perfect home away from home. The baby bed was a wonderful addition and we never heard him at night! Even though house faces Butler Avenue we never heard traffic. Our favorite spot in the house was the screened in porch off the master bedroom! Ceiling fans on the porch as well as all over the house! Short walk to beach-1 mile + to pier and Strand Ave for shops and restaurants. Better grocery shop prior to arrival since IGA is only resource on island and is pricey. Two full size refrigerators which was perfect for size of house and guests. Our family would definitely recommend Marigold Cottage to friends and family!
Roomy house with great master suite with screened in porch and roof top deck. Kitchen well stocked and lots of natural light. Some carpet stains but is pet friendly. Nice fenced in yard.
This was a lovely spot to bring our family down for a local soccer tournament. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The water in some of the bathrooms had a putrid sulfur smell. But, we just had our kids shower in the master bathroom which seemed much better. The property probably needs a whole home water filter to help with the smell. All in all, a great spot.
