AMAZING Ocean & River views Tybee Island! Lighthouse Point 17A

Overall, this is a nice property near the quiet north end of the island. It is up one flight of stairs while others in this complex require more flights. So it’s easier if you don’t climb stairs well, but the view of the ocean is more limited at this height. Beach access is a fair hike but no crowds make for a peaceful experience. Check in, cleanliness, and communication was fine. Nice beds and furnishings and AC and appliances worked well. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. We used the one tennis court that had pickleball lines. The nets and lines were good, but the surface had significant cracks that need resurfacing. Location is across the street from the police station so it’s a safe and quiet neighborhood. Only complaints were no dishwasher pods available, only one extra garbage bag, a missing light bulb in a bedroom lamp, and the thermostat automatically reset to 76 degrees every morning. These were all minor things so I still highly recommend the property.

This was our first visit to Tybee Island and overall were very pleased. The condo was well-appointed and had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. The beach was lovely!The only suggestion I have is the property could use a good deep cleaning. Baseboards were very dusty.

Had a wonderful week on our first trip to Tybee Island. The property was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. Enjoyed a relaxing week in the ocean, by the pool, and exploring the area, shops, and restaurants.

Beautiful unit! Comfy beds. Wonderful view. Quiet and relaxing complex. Clean and close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

We had such a great time! Loved that the pool was super close to the condo. The only thing was the master bedroom mattress was extremely thin & hard, which was very uncomfortable. All other beds/furniture were comfy.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay on Tybee. The location of the condo was perfect for riding bikes to the Lighthouse, Sugar Shack and Tybean Coffee bar. The walk to the beach is a little longer than I expected so bring a wagon with beach tires if you have a lot to bring along. Lovely beach area that was never crowded and wonderful for walking along. We did see dolphins, one was very close to shore. Great experience and would definitely stay here again!

This property suited our needs because we wanted a place within walking distance to Tybee Beach but it could have been a little cleaner inside. Tybee Beach is not ideal for eating out regarding restaurants which were extremely mediocre so unless you’re planning to cook yourself- good luck. Overall fine for a short visit but we won’t we going back to Tybee.

This was the perfect condo for our family beach trip! Plenty of space for our family of 4. Easy access to the beach - quieter on the north end with lots of dolphin sightings. Comfortable bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor balcony. Five stars all around!

We came for a girls retreat, beautiful view, close access to beach and pool, clean with good balcony size. We enjoyed our visit!

Perfect place to stay and the location is perfect.

My husband and I and our friends (another couple) spent a three day weekend on Tybee and enjoyed walks to the beach, lighthouse and nearby restaurant for cocktails and snacks. We loved the proximity to the beach and Savannah, where we spent an afternoon taking a historical tour. The unit was comfortable for two couples - and was as described, only point of feedback: it could benefit from a deep clean, particularly the side chairs in the living room and the doors/walls. A ceiling fan in the second bedroom (stuffy/hot according to our friends) would be a good addition. The host was quick to respond to questions and offered to reimburse us for a fan if we purchased one, which we appreciated just ran short on time to find one!

We enjoyed watching the ships and fishing boats from the balcony.

We just had an amazing stay in April 2025. The condo was clean and had all the things we needed for a beach vacation! The complex was quiet and although the pool was not heated, my kids still enjoyed swimming. You get private beach access within walking distance and everything else on the island is within walking, biking, golf cart, or drivable distance. We will definitely be back!

The condo was just like the pictures. Check in was easy and it was great to have a designated parking space. The owners were very quick to respond and very helpful. We would stay at this condo again.

Nice location. Wry comfortable But it needed some minor fixing, Kerig leaked all over an unusable, need blackout curtains in the bedroom, sliding door in the main bedroom does not lock , shower in main bedroom was not clean.

Our family had the best time during our stay. This was our first time on Tybee Island. The weather was perfect. We had the beach completely to ourselves. The ocean water temp was surprisingly pretty warm. We enjoyed watching the big cargo ships go by. I was glad to know from other reviews that the waves get pretty rough after the ships go by. There were tons of sea shells to collect along the beach. The kids had so much fun and can’t wait to go back. The host was very responsive to all our questions. The condo was right on the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sun rise in the morning and walking the beach in the evening. I could say so much more! Overall we had an amazing time!

My family (2 adults/2 kids) stayed at this property and loved it! We spent mornings on the beach searching for shark teeth and then hit up the pool(s)! The beach and pool were always calm and spacious. (Never felt cramped or busy.) The property was close enough for adventures or dinners into Savannah or the busier area of Tybee. Loved being on the calm, relaxing, and slow area of the island. The property is up one level of stairs (no elevator). The property manager was very responsive while on-site. In unit washer and dryer definitely helped us from overpacking ;-) Would recommend to family and friends! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Perfect for family if 4. Everything we needed for 5 days at the beach.

Met for quick getaway with husband’s brother and SIL, plenty of space for the four of us, easy access to beach, very clean with all the necessities, beds comfortable. Quick response from Manager and easy instructions for access, etc. Make sure to pay attention to which level you’re on if any handicaps or special needs, short flight to first floor but it’s three levels and no elevator. Enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Great location to the beach. There are 2 walkways to the beach from the complex and the condo is spacious and clean. Felt very quiet and private when we went, hardly anyone on the beach.
