Dog-friendly beachfront house with screened porch, AC & W/D

Everything was great! So easy to get to the ocean! Will rent again

Great smaller-sized beachfront home for a family or two. We loved the old-fashioned charm reminding us on Holden Beach from the 1960's and 1970's. The only two changes we recommend are buying cooking trays small enough to fit in the oven and maybe a new coffee maker. Otherwise, we would definitely book again.

Cottage was perfect - have stayed there many times. We appreciated being able to bring our cat this time as we had done before - with permission. Loved close walking distance to the beach!

this home is perfect for our family! We loved the updates of new TVs and couches since our visit a couple of years ago. We will be back for another stay!

I enjoyed my 2 week stay to decompress. It's a good location and very quiet.I suggest that you add an electric tea. Kettle to the kitchen, that would being very helpful.

The new flooring is awesome. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location but the walk to the beach access was a bit of a hike. There was a beach cart in the storage shed so that was very helpful. Also enjoyed the brand new tvs and bedding. Lots of games and puzzles and books too. I would definitely stay here again

I had booked the house for a sisters weekend, but that didn’t work out. Instead my husband, son, daughter in law and myself decided to go. The size of the house for us was perfect. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch. We love our own private access to the beach. I loved reading the history about the house. We will definitely be back!

Charming cottage that offered all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch as well as the easy access to the beach. Being able to enjoy it all with our dog was an added bonus.

This was our 2nd year booking this house with our dog and it will now become a yearly trip! Perfect for our small family!

Great place. Would stay there again

We loved the fact we were right on the beach with a private walk way. Also we love the affordability of the home. Lastly we like that Harleys Better Half is close to restaurants and the grocery store.

Loved reading about the history when during a hurricane an eon ago tore the upper level off and dropped it Inland, how it was recovered. Hood place for a couple weekend, even though it can sleep 6 persons, however there's one bathroom and a outside shower. The beds were very comfortable and the house served the purpose to trek to the beach, have great foods and spend family together. Enjoyed it.

Loved the screened in porch, and the dog enjoyed lounging in the porch area. Outdoor shower and sand rinse station on the walk way were used often and appreciated. Can’t anticipate hurricanes, but since we were at the beach we didn’t let Debby sour our vacation week and we were able to view the storm from the screened in porch - very impressive.

This property is definitely not up to Vacasa’s standards. The owners certainly don’t believe in upkeep. Two of the entrance doors don’t work, house exterior was so dirty and needs painting, interior carpet was old and stained everywhere, furniture was old, light bulbs were missing, and outdoor hoses sprayed you more than what you were washing. I could go on, but my advice is do not spend your money to rent this house.

We loved the location with views of the ocean and the marsh. The house was roomy but was well-worn in some places - stained carpet, lacking some basics in the kitchen, thermostats were way off.

It was a relaxing, family atmosphere! The beaches were well maintained and had great shells! Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the rear decks and hot tub!

Nice location, house large, easy walk to beach. House needs some basic maintenance (door knobs fell off). Hot tub nice to have!!

The perfect beach house to share with family and the dog. An older cottage that exudes the old beach house charm. Don’t look for fancy updated home, just wood paneled walls, a tiny kitchen and a short boardwalk to the beach. Just like the beach cottages of my childhood. We will be back in September.
