Dog-friendly beachfront home with ocean views, beach access, waterfront deck

Amazing views from every room! So spacious and well furnished.

House was beautiful and had three bedrooms with an ocean view. Rear deck was spacious with comfortable furniture and great view of the ocean. Location was great with easy access to stores and restaurants. Will stay here again.

The beach front home was excellent, close to surf city shops, but still semi private beach. The home needs updates to things like cabinets and flooring, but those did not affect our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked most of our meals.

The house was perfect for a group of 7. Great views from the decks and easy access to the beach. Pier and restaurant within walking distance. Would stay again.

Property is oceanfront with beautiful views

Loved staying here for a week over the summer! The views of the beach from all sides of the house were unmatched. Spacious for our family. Great size closets. Comfy beds. Clean. Easy access to the beach and town. On a quiet street so kids had fun riding bikes safely. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the location. The beach in front of us was never crowded, and the views from both the front and back of the house are lovely! The house is tastefully furnished with comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out in the main living room. The bathrooms were perfect size for our family. The decor was sparse, but we liked that. It gave us room to store our things. There was even room to put pantry items in the kitchen! Overall it was a lovely place to stay for our family beach vacation. The cons: the kitchen was not fully stocked for our seven travelers. Although I was told by Vacasa (the management company) that the kitchen had everything we needed, it was missing the following basic items: a measuring cup, oven mitts, cutting board, and baking sheets. Additionally, there were only two regular wineglasses (they had three champagne flutes) and the kitchen was light on the amount of silverware. We had to wash as we used it to have enough for each meal. We had to go out a purchase items that we needed to make our meals. We certainly made do, but wish we had known ahead of time what the kitchen was missing so that we could bring what we needed. I wish Vacasa had better knowledge of what the house has and doesn’t have.

Absolutely loved our stay at 726 Sunrise Court in Surf City, NC! From the moment we arrived, the stunning views and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable vacation. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus, allowing us to enjoy sun-soaked days and breathtaking sunsets. The outdoor space, complete with a lovely deck and seating area, was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The neighborhood is peaceful and family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for our getaway. We can’t wait to come back and create more wonderful memories at this beautiful home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach retreat!

Nice, big house in a great location. But it had five forks and seven knives for its listed 9 guests. And TWO wine glasses. And no beach chairs. It coulda been a five-star. No A/C in lower level when we arrived but maintenance fixed it quickly, BUT it went out again in about 20 minutes and was out until the HVAC guy came again the next day. Huge backup of trash, which management company fairly quickly cleaned up.

We just returned from an unforgettable week at 726 Sunrise Court and couldn’t be happier! The home is exactly what you dream of when booking a beach getaway—spacious, clean, and right on the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and walking straight down the private beach access was awesome. The 2 decks were our go-to spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The house had everything we needed—plenty of room for our family of 6, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and great plenty of room upstairs for our game night. The location is ideal: quiet and private, but still close enough to walk or bike to local restaurants, the pier, and shops.

Location, location, location. This was a beautiful home on the beachfront. We enjoyed the great ocean views on the top deck and bottom deck. Lots of comfortable furniture and beds in the house for my big family. The master bathroom looked to be newly renovated and was beautiful. The house is a little older, but was a great value for the price. We come to Surf City every year and we will definitely consider this home for our next vacation.

Sandcastle Sunrise is a nice, big house in a spectacular location – right on a quiet beach, but less than a mile from bustling downtown Surf City, with its restaurants, shopping, activities, pier, etc. We liked the big, well-equipped decks and big windows. But it seems that a house this pricey ought to be better supplied. It would be nice to have enough knives and forks for the nine people this house is supposed to sleep. It would be nice to have more than two wine glasses. A few basic spices like cinnamon could fit in the large cabinets. And it would be nice to have a few simple beach chairs. The sad thing is that if the owner spent about half of one day’s rent it could make this house truly five-star. BTW, management company did a good job of getting repairman out quickly when A/C didn’t work the first day – and again the second day after it failed again. The company also did a quick job resolving a big trash emergency.

No power in the three ocean front bedrooms for almost three entire days. Lots of water leaking in the upstairs sliding glass door, soaking our belongings and, according to the repairmen that came out on the third day of the power outage, corroding the wiring causing the electrical problem. Furniture not as pictured and uncomfortable. Mattress uncomfortable and in bed of replacement. No closet storage in the owner’s suite. Noisy, water damaged flooring. Insufficient cooking utensils in the kitchen. Dirt and debris in corners. No smoke detector in owner’s suite bedroom for two days. Slow wifi was not useful, cell signal was better. Deck furniture was adequate but hard. Windows were cloudy between the panes and could not be cleaned for a clear view of the beach. Location of the home was great. A previous review also noted a power outage / breaker tripping in the downstairs oceanfront bedrooms.

The is a beautiful ocean front home in a perfect location. We enjoyed the great ocean views from both decks. We stayed here last year and they have made several renovations including updating the master bath with a gorgeous tile shower and freestanding tub. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for our large family in the living room. We love the Surf City, NC area and will definitely be renting this home again in the future.

The location was awesome. Ocean view for sure!!! Big beds, lots of bathrooms. 2 porches with screen door on each room. Happy we could bring dogs. Nice big dining room table. Layout of house very good. Beach access. Mattresses comfortable. Bathrooms clean.
