Dock, Water Views: Dog-Friendly Ocean Shores Home!

Beautiful new cottage. Lovely dock on the canal. Very well designed and equipped for vacation rental. Peaceful and pleasant. About 10 minutes drive to Ocean Shores restaurants and recreation but well worth it for the peace and privacy.

Loved the dock onto the canal, coffee, filtered water and so many board games! Do note - there is no washing machine or dryer. Overall great location in Ocean Shores.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet.

Property is really nice. Would recommend vacuuming under the couch, push it out of the way and vacuum underneath. The seal under the freezer door was coming loose so i did my best to reconnect it. Beds seemed to be two parts of one bed, where the main suite had the box spring and theb2nd bedroom had the top to it. Sofa is a little uncomfortable would recommend something to support leaning back on. Screen doors on both sliders stick. Other than those things it was pretty good. Well situated. Good property and very quiet. The dock in the morning is amazing. Would definitely stay at your property again.

No issues with check in. Kitchen was great until we found there were no microwave or oven safe bakeware (could use a pyrex baking dish or two and a set of pyrex bowls).Railings really are needed on both front & back porches for safety.Access to laundry would be AWESOME!Loved the light and brightness, the ample room sizes!

Lovely cottage stay in an area we had yet to spend much time in despite our many visits to Ocean Shores. Located at the quiet end of the road near Damon Point and the Coastal Interpretative Center and away from the main business area which may or may not suit your fancy. Beach access just a few minutes away. Check-in and communication was well done. Everything you would need-except maybe a BBQ-to enjoy a self contained getaway. Great kitchen, tons of rainy day games for kids and adults, and an excellent backyard for private relaxation. The dock is a pretty place to spend time or launch a kayak from. Two important points. One, the mattresses, to us, were at two ends of the spectrum. One being far too soft and the main bedroom mattress being far too hard. Be prepared. And a note to the owners/management. Both shower stalls are in definite need of some type of slip resistant matting added to them. The floors are a safety hazard as is.

We really enjoyed this house!

Dirty. Rugs and floors not clean. Couch covered in white dog hair. Extra blankets on beds were also covered in dog hair. Consider bringing your own pillows and towels. Only one towel per guest provided. Pillows are bulky and too tall for neck comfort. The dock are is great.

No issues with checking in, everything worked and the house was easy to find. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. It's a newer place and the furniture seemed newer as well. The outdoor furniture was a little worn but completely functional. It would have been nice to have an outdoor grill, just a suggestion. We really appreciated that this place was dog friendly. Overall the stay was excellent and we would return.

Came down for a quick getaway with my husband and rottweiler. Loved the backyard. We saw tons of fish and birds including a heron and a few bald eagles. Deer walk through the front yard. House is cute and clean.

We really appreciated the rental home! It was clean, completely functional, and extremely comfortable. The canal views from THREE rooms was just an absolute delight! We would love to stay again sometime! We would also gladly recommend the rental to our friends!

Spent time with my wife's family at this lake front home in Ocean Shores. Great home with two baths, which was awesome. Close to Oyehut for dinner and a little store and not far from town or the beach. Had a great stay and would return

It was great being right on the canal and pretty close to beach access. The hose was well supplied. Only negative was bed in smaller bedroom was very uncomfortable.

Right on the canal and walkable to the beach. Nice to have 2 bathrooms when traveling with family.

Like the 2 Bd/2 ba arrangement on one level. Would suggest glass rather than plastic wine glasses and a way wash off the sand off one’s feet outside. A few prices of fire wood would be nice. Otherwise, excellent!

The house was so clean and in the best location, it was so peaceful listening to the wildlife every night and morning. We weren’t there a whole lot during our stay but the time spent there was lovely. I will be saving this house for our next vacation to the coast!

The outside of the house was dirty (cobwebs) No handrail up the 3 stairs which is required by state law. No safety rails on the back porch ( 2 feet or higher ) which is required. No response from the property management.

The house had everything we could need or want. Excellent location.

Very beautiful property and close by amenities

This peaceful retreat on the canal was amazing. The home is clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was close to the beaches and downtown. We had fun observing the wildlife! I highly recommend!

The cottage is well placed for kayaking both the Grand canal and Duck Lake. We observed a lot of wildlife and enjoyed chatting with many friendly people along the way.

We had a great time cooking hot dogs over the backyard firepit and me and my son even fished off the dock. We watched a few movies and flew kites on the beach. It was very peaceful
