Stayed Jun 3, 2026A beautiful location in a lovely neighbourhood. Sitting down at the water's edge, I found my happy place. The kitchen is limited, with no stove and no pots/no kettle, I had to cook dinner in the frying pan on the BBQ side element. The frig is small and the freezer didn't work well (our ice cream was liquid) because it needs defrosting. This is something easy to fix :) so I'd still recommend this beautiful location to anyone. The only downside: The property has well water with a heavy sulphur content; this is very damaging to colour-treated hair. Just a head's up. We appreciated: the view, the peace, the privacy, the cleanliness, ample shaded parking, and the lovely screened porch with dining area to stay cool.

Stayed Apr 8, 2026Absolutely GORGEOUS property! We had ideal weather, so that helped, but the seating area by the fire pit was perfect for reading and watching the sunset. Even from the house, the views were lovely. (It was our first time at Lake Greenwood and we fell in love with how tranquil it was this time of year). The house itself was exactly as described, very clean and charmingly decorated. The loft area was a great getaway for our two boys and made the space feel larger than it is. Two small recommendations to stock the kitchenette and make the place perfect: a microwaveable measuring cup and a slot toaster. We’ll definitely bookmark this spot as a place to come back!
