Dock & Outdoor Entertainment: Home on Lake Conroe

This house was terrible! It had dust a cobwebs everywhere. Our first night there, we attempted to take a bath in one of the upstairs bathrooms. Upon turning the water on, we discovered that the bathtub faucet was releasing dirty water. We opted to let the water run for a few seconds longer to clear the waterline. Shortly after letting the water run, water begun to pour from the ceiling onto the kitchen floor. Once the bathtub faucet was turned off, the water stopped falling onto the kitchen floor. Management were contacted immediately following alerting them of the situation. They then asked if it was raining. They were told that it was not raining and I expressed to them that the leak was coming from the upstairs bathtub. Management stated that they would be sending someone out to fix the situation. However, no one came. Mops were purchased to clean up the water because there wasn’t one available in the house. When pulling covers back to go to bed, we discovered hair along with urine stains in almost all the beds. All bedding were removed to be washed. Upon attempting to wash, we discovered that the cartridge meant to dispense laundry detergent, fabric softener, and bleach along with the cartridge insert area was extremely molded. Before we could use the washer, we had to manually clean both before use. While washing clothes, water started to flood into the kitchen from the washer. Kids got sick. The next day one of the showers and two of the toilets stopped working.Disaster

The home met our needs exactly.

Our family had a great time at the house hanging out. The main thing was the amount of room there is both inside and out for people to relax especially when there is a large family gathering like we had.

This property has a lot going for it. The house is big enough to easily accommodate a large group without feeling cramped in. The kitchen is well supplied and has 2 large refrigerators. And easy access to the water. We did have an unexpected maintenence challenge upon arrival, but our host was very responsive and ensured this was fixed as soon as possible.

Needs to be maintained better. Broken doors, stuck locks, spiders, their webs and victims, cockroaches, unsafe dock - broken tiles, broken boards. Dirty dishes, floors, couches.

We had a large group of family stay and the house was great for everyone to have their own space but also hang out and visit.

We were celebrating our daughter's birthday with her friends on the lake. The bunk room could accommodate all of them sleeping in one room, which was fantastic. The large table downstairs was great for game night with all the family and friends gathered around. The location of the house was perfect for what we wanted. Close to grocery stores and restaurants, but most importantly, close to the water. The water toys were a huge hit, and was a lot of fun to watch everyone try to balance on the paddle boards. The only downside of the whole trip was the state of the house. It was older and needs some attention to cleaning. Other than that, we had a great time!

Great variety of amenities! Multiple sinks, refrigerators, 2 dishwashers & an ice maker! Excellent floor plan with plenty of restrooms & room to spread out!

Our group of ladies had the pleasure of staying at the lake house this past weekend. It was perfect for our group. There were 13 ladies enjoying this house and we never felt crowded. It's laid out perfectly for groups of people to have separate conversations in multiple areas, inside and outside. Parking was perfect for all in the driveway. The outside deck was so pleasant to relax with our friends as well. We were a little concerned about the rainy weather with the house being on the lake, but there was no issue at all. In fact, the homeowner stayed in great communication with us before, during, and after our trip. We plan to come back when the weather will allow us to enjoy the extra amenities such as the lake, kayaks and paddle boards. All in all, highly recommended host and property.

The owner’s were absolutely wonderful and the house was beautiful. The house was spacious enough for all of us and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend renting this property.
