Dixie’s cottage was a perfect place for us to stay. Very clean, comfortable, and we loved waking up to the birds and seeing Dixie the pony right outside the windows. The cottage is wonderful!

This was a great property and an excellent change of scenery from the typical hotel. It was very spacious and had every thing we needed. The only thing we felt the house lacked was another window unit. The living room area where the pullout sofa was that the kids slept on got stuffy at night and was hard to cool when the daytime temps were 90 . Would definitely stay here again though!

This property was beautiful and unique. It was a nice place to stay for a beautiful wedding in Mount Pleasant. For a pet friendly home it was very clean! And although we didn’t get to stay and hang out in the actual home for as long as we wanted, it was fitting for our stay for the weekend. We would stay again if we ever had to come back to the area.

Excellent, amazing and gorgeous! Super peaceful. Dixie was sweet, the lights on the big tree in the fall weather was priceless.

Words cannot express how much we loved our short stay in Dixie's Cottage! From the quaint cottage RIGHT NEXT TO DIXIE the horse (a dream) and adorable chickens to walking the beautiful grounds with our 2 pups, the town of Columbia, and to top of off, meeting Chris, the owner. Who knew we were staying in the home of such lovely and famous (I might add) people! Chris was everything you would think a Pastor would be; kind, generous, inviting, and overall lovely to talk to. If you get a chance, read the book he wrote that sits in the cabin- I wish we had more time so that I could read more (I'll be purchasing it!). What an inspirational story! I absolutely LOVED spending time with Dixie- I became a slave to feeding her grass and I wouldn't have it any other way. If we didnt have to leave, I'd still be out there feeding her. ;) She is absolutely adorable!!The home was very clean, well kept, modern amenities, and comfortable for my husband and I and our 2 pups. We loved that you can purchase homemade jelly and other items right from the cottage, from their entrepreneurial daughter. We were excited to hear of the plans they have about the property, it makes us want to come back for sure!It was an overall lovely experience that anyone would enjoy!Thank you Chris and Holly!

This sweet little cabin was such a blessing to us during our time there. My husband and I were in the middle of selling our home and closing on our new one. Holly was so accommodating for us and our pup. We had everything we needed and more. Dixie was the best neighbor as well! We can’t wait to come back for a little staycation after we are fully settled in our new place! Perfect place if you’re just coming into town to explore Columbia for the weekend. We love our little town! :)

Perfect place for my husband and I as we’re in town to celebrate a family wedding. Mule Town is quiet and tranquil. Mornings were filled with walks around the property with our dogs and sitting on the front porch swing enjoying fresh brewed coffee. Perfect location and not far from town to get groceries or scope out the area so rich with history. It was also a delight to meet and share with other guests staying at Mule Town. Thank you Holly and Chris for the hospitality and accommodations. We hope to return for future visits and will certainly recommend your cabins to others.

I booked this farm because I wanted to be in the country and around farm life. The cabin itself was more than spacious. The bed was super comfy. The temperature control unit was perfect! And I was able to hang out on the couch in the living room while my husband slept in. We were greeted by Dixie the horse at night and in the morning. The coffee was abundant for my husband and I. We were touring downtown Nashville when we were in town, and we found that Columbia was the perfect distance away from the city for us. We can’t wait to come back!
