DiscoBay Waterfront Getaway w/ Game Room, Video Games, Deck & Water toys

We stayed here in January 2026 and is an absolutely beautiful spot. I really wish we had had more time to stay - the amenities, the games, made it a great place to stay with our family. There was access to the water and it is a stunning location. The hosts were welcoming and we felt good rely on them for anything we needed. The master bedroom was also incredible and the bed was extremely comfy. We hope to return again in the future.

We selected this home due to its close proximity to where our daughter’s wedding venue in Brentwood was. There were 9 of us staying there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and fit our needs; we didn’t use the kitchen other than the refrigerator for storage. We ate all our meals out, so we didn’t use the grill or oven/stove. We didn’t enter the garage. We didn’t use the fireplace, or any board games. We didn’t use any of the water crafts other than a SUP my 40 year old son used. The towel he used to dry off was left on a deck chaise. For checkout, we emptied all the garbage, stripped the beds, loaded the dishwasher w the glasses we used; and started it. The next day, the owner notified me that 2 decorative towels were missing. He asked if we took them! My sister swears she noticed one on the chaise outside by the door and the matching towel in a basket by the front door as we were leaving. Upon further inspection, owner said that one towel was in the basket still, however the other one was not on the patio/deck. Apparently they are decorative towels, not for using post-water activities. So, bring your own beach towels if you plan on going in the water. He deducted the cost from our deposit. It felt a little “he said, she said” but in the end I agreed to replace the 28 towel. My daughters wedding was beautiful and we were happy to have a safe place to sleep.

Amazing property! Immaculately clean, super comfy beds, all the comforts of home plus all of the amenities you could ever want or need. Great for families. Gracious and attentive hosts. We had a wonderful time!

This property is very well maintained. My family of 8 from age 10 to myself and husband (grandma and grandma) were very comfortable. It surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed the open airy layout and being on the water. The paddle boat was the favorite of the many toys provided. My grandson ( age 13) particularly loved to catch bass - catch and release ) off of the dock. Eating our breakfast on outside deck was a real treat this morning before heading home. We had a wonderful stay at Rick and Jayme's home in Discovery Bay over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was beautiful, clean and quiet, offering a perfect setting for our family gathering. The water views from the master bedroom, kitchen and dining area were stunning, and we especially enjoyed the spacious patio, which was ideal for relaxing together. The night lights added a cozy and magical touch to the evenings. Rick and Jayme were excellent hosts — communicative, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating. They ensured all our needs were met, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone looking for a serene getaway. Thank you, Rick and Jayme, for helping make our Thanksgiving a memorable occasion!

Wish I could Give 6 Stars. House was better than advertised. Everything was great, except the first day weather, But host cant control weather. Will definitely keep this in my back pocket for future plans. So many things to do, Shuffleboard, Foosball, Air Hockey, plus all the water toys. So Much Fun, THANKS!!!

I want to first start off by saying that Rick and Jayme are amazing hosts! They came to our rescue when our family needed a place to stay. In summary, our daughter was getting married in the Brentwood area. We had a place lined up and the other host canceled our reservation at the last minute. I scrambled to find a place that was suitable in size, and a good location for our family. I searched VRBO and found this beautiful home that I thought would fulfill our needs for the wedding week. The only worry was whether we would be able to get it since it was last minute. Rick reached out to me personally and I gave him the run down of what occurred. He & Jayme did not hesitate and made their place available for our family. When we arrived at their home, We were taken aback how beautiful it was. In person the home was identical to the photos in the listing. Everything was pristine. It was well furnished and clean. It had several amenities that our family enjoyed including; indoor / outdoor games. We utilized the kitchen daily, enjoyed the comfortable beds, & loved the amazing water pressure! Our favorite, was lounging on the deck and paddle boarding. I tend to find both pros & cons of the properties I stay at, but honestly I couldn't find a negative thing about this place. Only negative thing is our time was short & we had to head back home. My family & I will definitely stay at this beautiful home again. Thank you Rick and Jayme for your wonderful hospitality!
