Great place and location. Just wish it had a better dock.

The location is one of the best for Discovery Bay as the water is cleaner than everywhere else.The room configuration is great with plenty of real beds in the four bedrooms. The ac worked great in all the rooms. Our host was helpful, communicative and responded quickly. She even offered to bring over propane when I thought there might not be enough.The kitchen was well equipped, with complimentary coffee/tea.The house was clean and well kept. There was plenty of room for our family of 10 (7 adults and 3 kids) I brought camping pads for the kids.It was fun to have a small ping pong table. We brought our own bats and balls.The only thing I would suggest is to clean up the outside a bit. The area outside the back door is lovely, and the recliner loveseats are fantastic to relax and watch the sunset from. But the area outside the bedroom, where the non functioning hot tub is, has a lot of cobwebs and a broken/ugly plastic wall. It would be great to have a hot tub to use or else get rid of it and use the deck instead. More deck room is always welcome.There were large weeds and blackberries coming through in various places. Having a gardener do a once over before guests arrive would take care of it. Instead of an ugly wire fence with plastic notices telling you not to lean on it, a framed wire fence would make it safe and look so much nicer.We had a fantastic time, and I would rent this house again if in the area.

We spent a weekend in Discovery Bay, this location was excellent. The house was nice and the kitchen was well equipped.We rented a pontoon boat and explored the delta, the proximity to the fast water is great. I can only imagine that getting to fast water from one of the further spots could take 30 minutes so this location being just a few minutes to the lighthouse was very good.
