This 3 bedroom, 3 bath, half duplex townhouse offers all you need for a great vacation. Stunning openwater views of the Gulf of Mexico, beautiful sunsets, your own private pool and cut in boat slip with lift. Great views from the living area and master bedroom.
The ground level entry is off the carport with a door to the back yard, pool and dock, room for easy storage of fishing poles and boating gear. Upstairs on the first level is the kitchen, dining and living area and the first bedroom and hall bath. The kitchen has everything you will need within easy reach and a breakfast bar for extra seating. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a small balcony, the bath has a tub/shower combination. Off the living area is a covered porch with outdoor dining overlooking the pool and dock, the perfect spot to celebrate the sunset!
The top floor has a master suite on the waterside of the unit with a queen size bed and private bath that also has a tub/shower combination. An open porch off the master is a great spot to catch some sun in the day or salute the sunset after a day on the water. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and private bath.
The pool is at the foot of the unit just off the covered patio where you will find a gas grill and a bait freezer for the fisherman. Fish cleaning table on the dock. The cut in slip is shared with the other side of the duplex and this side has a newly installed 10,000 lb boat lift for guest use. The lift will fit a trailerable size boat up to 30 length and 9 beam. Immediate access to the Gulf and just a short run to the 7 Mile Bridge for bridge fishing or beyond to the Ocean! Like to fish off the dock The seawall on the Gulf is the spot to be and has a ladder for easy access if you want to take a swim or snorkel along the shoreline. Please note the boat on the lift in some of the photos is not included or available for rental.
The unit has tile floors with carpet in the bedrooms. Central A/C, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven, washer/dryer, high speed internet connection with wifi (Comcast service).TV s in the living area, first floor bedroom and master bedroom, DVD player in the living area. The TV in the living area is a Samsung 4K resolution for a great picture. Parking is limited to two vehicles or one truck and trailer. We offer complimentary trailer storage at our office. The 33rd. Street boat ramp is just up the shoreline for putting in or hauling out your boat.

4 bikes are offered with the property, a great way to go to the old bridge and view the water and fish when you look over the bridge railing. A kayak is also available for those who want to explore the shoreline by water. Located at the west end of the island this property is within walking or biking distance (2 Trek bikes included!) to the 7 Mile Grill, Porky's, Lazy Days, Faro Blanco, Castaways, Burdines and Sunset Grill (for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Happy Hour!), Turtle Hospital, Old Seven Mile Bridge and West Marine. *Please note the old 7 mile bridge has been closed for repairs (July 2016) by the DOT. Repairs are expected take as long as five years to complete.
Guest must agree to the use agreement for the lift, the agreement is included in the attached reservation agreement (example only, I will send you one filled out when you reserve the property which you will need to sign and return).

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great sunset views! Great for 3 couples to stay.We even had a manatee visit one day. Boat lift was great to have to make it easier for seniors to get in and out of the boat. Also was good to have as it was very windy one day. The pool was nice for a group of friends, we paid extra to have it heated.

    The area is amazing. The views are breathtaking. The property needs a major refresh. The cleaning people need to pay attention to some of the really dirty areas. The property manager is non existent.

    All six of us really enjoyed our stay. The property manager and owner were both easy to communicate with and deal with. The property was beautiful and easy access to grocery stores. We will definitely come back. We had no issues and loved it there.

    The house would have been nice if we hadn't had construction noise and smell from both sides of the house. The owner(realty company) Kitty Whalton claimed no responsibility in not informing us of the constant construction noise on new homes being built, which prevented us from using the outdoors all day from Monday thru Friday. This has been going on for several months and should have been disclosed in the listing. She offered no compensation for lack of use of the porches and pool. We are highly dissapointed and want future renters to know about this!

    great view, home well equipped, bikes were new and we were able to ride them onto the bridge, the boat lift electrical cord/ receptical needs to be replaced (it needed 2 people to work the plug and remote) to raise and lower the boat.... which is a easy fix.

    The views are good and easy access to most things. Went to Key West a couple of days. The pool leaks so you have to refill it; makes paying extra to heat it really a waste. Kitchen has a few basic pans but can’t cook too much. Place smelled really musty but we were able to get some air freshener which helped a lot. Overall decent but don’t expect luxury.

    We had a lovely stay at this vacation property. It was easy to get to and just a short drive to all the amenities needed. I do have a few items which I would like to point out for the property owner which could improve on future guest stay. My suggestions are not to dissuade anyone from a rental because we really enjoyed our time on this property. 1. Please can you change the towels in the house. They are no longer white and the facecloths and handtowels are showing their age and repeated use. 2. The shower curtain backing in the main upper bedroom needs to be replaced along with the shower curtain hooks which are rusted. 3. Personally I am not a fan of sleeping under a quilt or comforter, as I have no idea when it was last cleaned. Could the owner consider a different way to dress the bed. How about removable duvet covers? Yes, it adds to the laundry at on departure day. Upon my departure, I left the quilts, except one, out on the deck to air them out and get sun. The one I brought in go the morning sun for a few hours. So -- my suggestion would be to ditch the comforters and use a duvet insert and duvet covers. 4. Its time for new patio chair cushions. 5. The pool tiles (there are just a few) can easily been reattached. So easy it just needs to be done 6. The fish table on the pier needs the faucet reattached. Again, super easy but it just needs to get done. We had a lovely time at this rental. *We had the pool heat turned on and it was lovely.
