Stayed Dec 7, 2025The Desert Retreat is located in a quiet and well kept development close to anything you need like grocery stores, restaurants and such but also it's a perfect jumping off point for lots of fun adventures and things to do. (2 things that are VERY close are the Titan Missle Museum and The ASARCO Copper Mine) Also, check out the Wednesday Market-all sorts of fun and interesting vendors.It's also a great neighborhood for your morning or evening walk.Monica was a stellar host, always prompt with her responses. The townhouse felt spacious for the 2 of us and was equipped with everything we needed. The back patio, with a lovely view of the Santa Rita mountains, was a lovely spot to sit and relax after a full day of adventuring. Don't hesitate to book this listing.

Stayed Mar 1, 2024My husband is a gym rat and the access to the GVR was perfect for him and me. The location of the place worked very well for us. We aren't very techie so the TV access was a challenge for us. The hosts were very responsive to any requests we had and we enjoyed our stay very much.
