The porch made it great for us. Drinking coffe and watching the deer in a very quiet area was needed.Clean and comfy living area with the same great view as the porch. Everything we needed was provided.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, the rooms were nice, and our host provided all the info we needed.

We had a very relaxing time! It's very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the family of deer that visited to the yard several times a day. The kitchen was very well stocked, as well as plenty of towels and toiletries. We also enjoyed daily walks, listening to the running creek & river (head to the left as you leave the driveway). Getting honey from De La Cruz Farms was also a highlight!

Great place, quiet, secluded, loved nature, close to Todd, Boone, and West Jefferson. Lots of fun and things to do.

Beautiful and serene! Very clean and cozy, and deer visit daily! Close to groceries but far away from civilization! Easy drive to many mountain destinations too! Perfect!

The house was very private, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful and accommodating as well. The location is very convenient and yet out of the way. Highly recommend!

Communications regarding rental details were confusing. Directions, passwords, etc. were hard. To find and recover with the many emails and places without service. I was asked to send a copy of my drivers license, which is a security concern for me. Finding out why this is needed in advance was frustrating.

This has become our home away from home. Price is great, but you can't really put a price on peace and quiet, which we think is the biggest draw to this house in the woods! Daily visits from the deer (bring apples and peanuts), almost no traffic, and no noise. Complete solitude. Yet you're only 20 minues away from Boone or West Jefferson. If you ever want to sell, I would be interested!

Very well appointed 2-bedroom/2-bath house; secluded location but easy access to attractions, shopping, and restaurants. We originally booked for a fall date but had to postpone, the owner was very accommodating and very responsive to all questions about the property. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the house very much. The deer come up all around the property. Leaves are just starting to change the trees are pretty. The house is decorated so nice. Hosts were east to get in touch with. The tub was a favorite. We will stay again

This is our second time staying here and probably will be our go to for every trip out to see grandkids ! I can find nothing I don’t like here! Love watching the deer in the yard and when grandkids come to visit, they love the outdoor fireplace for S’mores !

We really loved this house ! It was perfect for us! The house itself was very nice and sooo clean! Watched a family of three deer from the balcony as they stood right below us looking up. The porch was very peaceful with the sound of the little stream running beside the house, and the outdoor fireplace was a great touch! Definitely hope to go back
