The property was very beautiful and relaxing we really enjoyed the property and the view of the lake, the water was deep like I expected. We will be returning soon.

An absolute wonderful place to stay! Great location! plenty of room for parking and room for a trailer if you’re bringing your boat! The boat dock was very nice and covered with chairs, life vests and other inflatables. Kayak launch, grill, nice firepit by the water and wood supply! Very welcoming with the wonderful smell of freshly baked loaf of bread in the bread maker (unexpected surprise!), fun duck scavenger hunt! The hosts were very accommodating with snacks, toothbrushes, floss, bug bite cream and basket for our fur baby such as towels, food bowl.Loved the added cloths for makeup remover, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers. Communication was great! We hope to stay here again next year!

Our stay was great and we had everything we needed. The hosts thought of everything even down to our pup. Highly recommend!!! You will not be disappointed.

Our stay was perfect. The cleanest VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. The house had everything including warm bread when we arrived. Amanda is by far, the most communicative host ever.

The host was very welcoming. The amenities were lovely. A beautiful property. It is a relaxing retreat environment for a very small group of people. The house is very large, but only 8 people are allowed on the property at a time. This is the first time I have encountered this type limitation.It was dog friendly. They made many accommodations for dogs. This was a big plus for us.The owners were kind and gracious.

Perfect spot for a family of 4 and our dog! This place was better than advertised. I don't want to share too much, as I don't want other folks booking this place too much. We plan to return! Nice flat lot for the dog to run. Great fishing from the kayaks. Awesome downtown in Seneca. Check out Keowee Brewery- and very cool Christmas lights on the square with funnel cakes and deep fried oreos. Nice quiet neighborhood- great for walks or running. Lovely interior, very clean and spacious, awesome for watching TV or reading with a view of the lake! Our boys, 13, and 15, enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Hosts were very accessible, even though we had no issues!

The hosts were easy to communicate with and were very accommodating to all of our family needs. They had everything we needed, and some nice extras (the extra toothbrush was greatly appreciated). The house was great, lots of seating for family, and the view of the lake was beautiful.

We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful experience. The house sits close to the lake and is on a flat lot which allows for beautiful lake views from the den, screened-in porch and deck. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessary appliances/gadgets. The property has fun toys to enjoy in the water - noodles, googles, kayaks, floats. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had no issue docking it there. The house is in a cove with many other houses but there wasn’t too much boat traffic, making it easy to enjoy swimming across the cove or just floating. (note, we were there Monday through Saturday. The cove may be busier on the weekend) The homeowners were wonderful about communication and responded quickly to our questions. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy Lake Keowee.

Lee and Amanda have a beautiful home on the lake. This was our third stay and each time it gets better! The little touches they add each your, not to mention the amazing new deck last year, make it the perfect spot for our family. Can’t say how wonderful this home is and how gracious Lee and Amanda are as hosts. Don’t miss this one folks!

We have stayed at this property every summer for three years, and we plan on coming back again. This home is located in a great little cove near South Cove Park. It's easy to put your boat in at South Cove and dock it at the house. The cove is quite, deep and easy to access. The home has a gentle sloping yard which makes it an easy walk from the house to the water. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It's very clean and in a great neighborhood. It's also close to the movie theaters and the grocery store, but we spend almost all of our time at the house and at the dock. Our boys love swimming and fishing off the dock. This week we caught several brim, a few channel catfish and a bass right off the dock. If we ever have a question for the owners, they are just a text away and very responsive. We'll be back!

Amazing long weekend of R&R on Lake Keowee. Enjoyed the views, kayaking in the cove and swimming off the dock. Owners were very responsive and property immaculate. The warm welcome was a nice touch!

The property was immaculate. Very clean, well stocked comfortable on a beautiful quiet cove. The pictures are representative but the property inside and out is even better than pictures. The owners we the most responsive to our questions (there were no issues) but we had a couple questions and they responded almost instantly. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible. We can’t wait to return.

My wife and I do a lot of traveling. That being said, we have seen our fair share of rental properties. However, this property “Sheltered Shores” comfortably rests at the TOP of my list. The photos in the listing pale in comparison to the true actual on-site visual representation, henceforth the title I chose to represent this amazing property! Whether you are sitting on the dock, around the fire pit, the screened in porch, the deck, or even washing dishes at the kitchen sink…You are immersed in absolute serenity. The cove is so peaceful and inviting that it takes your breath away, giving way to views that make time stand still. The house is spacious, clean and very well furnished, with a great sense of character. It is quite obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and providing a pleasurable experience. The attention to details and the amenities provided speak clearly that the owners, Amanda and Lee, care about you and truly want you to enjoy your stay. The location is perfect as you are located within 10 – 20 minutes of just about anything you could want. We, the four of us total could never fully express what a true pleasure and blessing it was for us to have the privilege to stay at Sheltered Shores! What an Amazing time we all had! We brought our own kayaks and explored the lake. The house is CLEAN, very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. We had a couple of rainy days- but still enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay again at this property. Thanks !

We traveled down to Lake Keowee to celebrate Easter and help our Clemson daughter start her move out process. This property was perfect. It is about 20 minutes from Clemson and the perfect little spot to relax and be with family. The property owners were great and had everything you may need to feel at home. The views are breathtaking and my family did not want to leave. If we need a place to stay in the future we will defiantly book again.

We were there to fish a tournament. We had 6 adults 5 vehicles and three bass boats. We had plenty of room for parking. House was clean and exactly as described. House was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again! Owner was great for communication. 10 out of 10

We have rented many properties on Lake Keowee over the years (visit often as I was born and grew up in the area and come back to visit family)- Sheltered Shores is our favorite! The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the views are incredible! So quiet and peaceful - whether on the deck, the screened-in porch, or at the dock or fire pit by the lake. The property is definitely superior in terms of the quality of the furnishings and amenities in the living areas, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The property owners were very responsive to our needs and communicated clearly and often. Can’t wait to go back!

Stay was great

The home view of the beautiful emerald colored lake was breath taking. There was plenty of room to hang out as a family as well as ample space to have alone time. Everything from restaurants to grocery stores are a very short drive. The owners were responsive and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!!

Very clean and right on the lake. Watched birds and saw fish surfacing. Very quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed being in South Carolina visiting our son in college for Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful location and so quiet.

We had such a great time. The house was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The house is right on the lake, which is so beautiful and clear. We enjoyed a couple of the local restaurants. The lighthouse was A+ and we also went to the Italian restaurant. We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful weekend plus at The Sheltered Shores. We enjoyed game day at Clemson to see our Tiger in Tiger Band. Then we enjoyed a few days relaxing, fishing, star gazing, and watching the sunrise. Amanda and Lee were especially welcoming and helpful! The home is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stay at the lake! We would choose The Sheltered Shores again!

Myself and three co-workers stayed here while working night shift at the power plant. Quiet neighborhood a comfortable house. Plenty of room. Planning on coming back with the family just to relax.

We stayed for 6 days with 6 people and 2 dogs and had a blast!! First, Amanda was very quick to reply to any questions prior to and upon arrival. Second, the home is spacious, well-appointed, and in a beautiful cove with views of big water. We could not have picked a better place to stay. Thank you Amanda!

This was our second time staying here and there’s a reason we came back. It’s a great setting for our annual family vacation. Our teenager loved that he could have his own space in the room over the garage. Our 3 year old slept great in one of the other bedrooms and we were very comfortable in the master bedroom. The gently sloped yard is great for the kids playing and fishing. We had everything we needed and it’s clear that the owner cares about providing a great experience. We had to work with the owner on a minor issue and she was very proactive and responsive. You really feel like you’re being taken care of and they care about you having a great stay! We will most likely be back since the kids keep asking to go back.
