Deauville Carriage House— Petite gulf oasis w/big style, close to the beach

We absolutely loved our stay at the Deuville Carriage House. It was perfect for our little family. Very clean & had all the things we needed in the kitchen. Short quick walk to the beach, pool, and Main Street. Will definitely be back !!

Fantastic stay! A little tight for a family, but great location and fantastic property. The only reason I put 4 stars in lieu of 5 was because the bed was either wildly soft or thin, maybe both. My pregnant wife didn't sleep most of the trip. That could also be preference. Otherwise, would book again! Lastly, the management and communication was seamless.

Absolutely LOVE the close proximity to the beach and some of the best shops and restaurants that the Rosemary beach area has to offer! It is a five minute walk to the beach and less to Gallions, Crema and the Pearl. Starbucks is also a five minute walk. The decor of the cottage is very tasteful and overall condition is very good. Parking in the garage is quite tight. If you have a mid size SUV, it is extremely tight and a large SUV will not work. I have stayed in the cottage twice and would definetely stay again.

Needs a few fixes (shower head is falling out of the wall) but overall we were very pleased. Cant control the neighbors (in the main house) who were rude (there is shared space) and LOUD with LOTS of children. I am sure we will be back in off season to avoid that.

Arrived Saturday. On Sunday morning the management team reached out asking how everything was. I shared with them a picture of the wall mounted shower coming off the wall. Shower still worked but did not want to be responsible for the lack of maintenance here. On Sunday we needed to do a quick load of laundry since we packed light knowing we had a washer and dryer. After washer load was complete, we discovered the dryer would not start, getting a “door” code error. I sent a text to the property management company but it was after hours so they put a note in for the morning team on Monday. I didn’t hear from anyone Monday morning so I reached back out and said a member of the maintenance team would be over mid-morning. They showed up and said they would try and rest the dryer “again” by powering it down through the electrical breaker but that didn’t work. They said a part was on order leading me to believe they knew the dryer was not working. The Management team said they were working to confirm the service appointment. In the meantime, they offered us a drying rack. We declined because there was already one there. I pressed the management company letting them know this seems like a known problem before we ever checked in and felt like I was lied to. Also, there was very limited place to hang any clothes and there were only 7 hangers and no dresser to store clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases. This is a design issue that needs solved.

Not only was the place and location amazing, the communication when we had questions during our stay was so prompt!

Had an A/C problem the first night, called in at about 5, and a tech came and fixed it that evening. Impressive! Watch your head in the loft!!

The property and location were perfect for our family of 4. My husband and I took the loft and set our 3 and 5 year olds up on the pullout. Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. Really easy walk to beach access as well as to the town square. Check in process really easy. Would stay here again! The only downsides were that the dryer really did not work and some of the locks on the doors were difficult to lock.

This place was exactly as advertised. My wife and I loved it. Our only issue was the bad weather that came and ended our stay early. The management staff was attentive and the place was beautiful. We'll definitely return!

The Deauville carriage house is ideal for a couple. It is bright with modern decoration setting your mood for vacation time @ Rosemary beach. The location is excellent, as it is 3 min walk from the beach and from the restaurants. We strongly recommend it, and we look forward to renting it again when we return to 30A Florida.
