My wife and I enjoyed one of the best vacation's EVER at the boathouse! We got to experience the last hurrah of summer and the first brush of fall weather which was wonderful. We used the kayaks 3 times, discovering all the beauty of Lake Kanasatka! We went swimming and jumped off the floating dock, but mostly enjoyed the view as much as we could from the deck and the cabin! Natural Retreats called us the Tuesday before to ensure an easy arrival. We also had excellent communications with the owner (Sydney) who was wonderful and prompt to answer our questions. For guests who have not been here before, we would recommend a stop at the Walmart in Gilford, or Shaw's grocery in Laconia on the way up for provisions. Bottom Line: Staying at the Lake Kanasatka boathouse was a blessing and we're looking forward to returning the same time next year!!!
Property is great. View is spectacular.
Love this place. Was there 5 years prior and had to come back! Perfect location, great for 2 people. Lots to do. Will be back
Great location, easy access and very peaceful and relaxing.
Last minute find. Very clean , renovated comfortable room. Desk help friendly and accommodating. Recommend i staying here.
We were very happy with the house. However! We think the owner should be more honest about the fact that swimming in August and September may be limited by “bloom” on the lake, caused by sewage runoff. Yuck!! Left early.
The boathouse is all we needed for a lively week-long stay at the lake. It was spotless and well-appointed. Sitting on the deck at any time of day was a highlight. And the swimming, kayaking, and paddle-boarding were glorious.
The boat house was perfect for a get-away that my husband and I needed. Just enough room for 2 people (maybe more if needed). A quiet and beautiful spot to relax.
The view is spectacular, the atmosphere is relaxing and the accommodations are intimate. The boathouse is perfect for two. Best location on Lake Kanasatka.
Enjoyed the deck right on the lake. Layout of the floor plan was convenient, attractive and comfortable. Close to Center Harbor and Moultonborough amenities. Weather was great for a couple of Southerners escaping the SC heat!
