Great vacation home. We enjoyed being able to BBQ in the backyard and the owner was very responsive with any of our questions/needs. Definitely recommend!
Lovely home. It felt as if we owned it, comfy, well appointed, great kitchen and bath ---also there is a 1/2 bath off of the kitchen which adds to ease of living. And living is the right term. It wasn't just visiting, or staying in a hotel, it was as if we were home. Wonderful fenced backyard. Owners allow a dog with reasonable deposit and some understandable rules about pooh pick-up and dog hair. It's close to quaint and fun downtown Prescott (minutes by car, maybe 15 minutes walking), shade trees abound. We experienced a little sap on our car parking in the driveway, but it wasn't big globs of killer goo (e.g. came off with the rain that hit via an early sort-of monsoon). Relaxed, cooked our own meals two of three nights, drank champagne on the back patio, it was perfect.
The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Close to the square where there was action every day/evening. We were there for hiking, kayaking, zoo, rodeo, 4th of July parade and fireworks and escape from AZ heat in the valley. We also enjoyed having Netflix and watched a bunch of kids movies. The girls really enjoyed riding their scooters up and down the sidewalk. We took many walks throughout the neighborhood. The house and back yard were perfect for us. Light daily brief rain storms were welcomed and cooled everything nicely. Only problem was the ants which the very accommodating owner tried to rectify quickly but because of the holiday weekend was unable to. We really enjoyed the historic neighborhood with the lovely homes and great tall trees. I'm planning to return in the fall, winter, spring, and of course next summer.
We had a most delightful time at your home and enjoyed the quaintness of the Beaver-Cleaver neighborhood, historic homes, tree-lined streets and street lamps. It put us on a nostalgic trip for sure. The home was all and more that we wanted and the best one yet. Everything was convenient and close to town. The owners were very accommodating, which we appreciated. We would recommend this place to all our friends and would love to come back here sometime.
The house was in a perfect location, but we didn't know that there would be road-work going on right in front of the house. Not much of a problem though, just a little noisy during the day, but we were out fir most of the time. The house was outstanding, and our dogs really enjoyed the great backyard. The owners seemed to really care about making sure everything was good, and we would definitely do it again!
We found this property to be spotless & cozy & very convenient for meals. We enjoyed the backyard & gas grill for outdoor eating. Convenient location allowed for walking to town.
Gorgeous home! We stayed for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. Our dogs came with us and enjoyed the large yard. Thanks again for everything!
Just came back to cold NY from warm and sunny Prescott, Az. where my Mom and I spent Feb. and March in a lovely cozy cottage within walking distance to quiant Courthouse square. This 2 bedroom cottage is in a wonderful area that offers much to do. Our Host Catherine and Todd were very accomodating and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. No question I would stay here again, maybe even longer. Thanks Catherine and Todd for a very memorable time.
This historic cottage was well-maintained and well-equiped with updated appliances and washer and dryer, beds are comfortable. The backyard is park-like and was perfect for our two Wheaten Terriers. The owners are close by and very attentive to anything that you might need during your stay. The location is close to downtown and all the festivities that Prescott has to offer. If there is a downside, I would have to say the furniture could have been more comfortable.
This rental is nothing sort of a perfect cottage. It is decorated adorably and spotless. We felt right at home! The cottage was spotless. Very nice, fenced yard to enjoy the wonderful weather. Beds were very comfortable. While completely modern and updated, still had a wonderful charm. Walking distance from everything. Great location. WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home. It was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. We ventured to Jerome and Sedona and Whiskey Row...and had the most relaxing home to come back too. Thanks for opening up your home to us, we couldn't have picked a better place in Prescott to stay. Will most definitely come back to stay!
We had 5 adults and 1 child at this property the weekend of April 4, 2014 and the home slept us very comfortably. It was great to have modern amenities of wi-fi and television but still feel like we were in our own mountain retreat. The walk to Whiskey Row is easy and we did it several times over the weekend. The backyard is excellent for grilling and visiting in the perfect Prescott weather. Most importantly, the owners were very accommodating with our travel plans and were a joy to work with. From the wine and chocolate upon arrival to the organized list of restaurants and things to do, they make their home feel like yours. My only regret is we did not have time to use the mountain bikes that are included with the rental. My family and I will not stay anywhere else in Prescott. Excellent location, great owners, and a charming home.
