Darling 1930s cottage across from ocean!

Incredible stay!!! Our suggestions will be to make a shower in the main bathroom upstairs and new grill.

We enjoyed the essence of the remolded cottage and the location was fantastic. There were a few minor issues, like the oven, sink, and ac but overall is was another wonderful adventure to add to our books.

The TV is missing from master bedroom….big deal and oven is almost impossible to figure out how to work

This house reeks and has pet hair, pet smell, dirty linens and huge cockroaches. The living room, furniture, unlike the pictures in the listing, are covered in smelly dirty spreads. When we , upon check in, reached out by text to the rental agency stating our dirty bed issues (sand in bed), roach, they offered to do another extermination, but took hours to respond as apparently the contact i used was for emergencies only and the evening was considered after business hours. They did not address our smell and filth concerns. We had to fix the issue ourselves by the only means possible and that meant we had to take our kids, dog , after a 12 hour drive elsewhere. We did not, could not, stay 1 single night due to its inhabitability. We had to find a hotel, which was an hour away that was available on such short notice fir a family and a pet, elsewhere and essentially paid 2x for 5 days. We turned in the keys several days early , told them.in person via text all our issues and they refunded our cleaning cost on vrbo but not one single nights fee or even any percentage of this several thousand dollar booking. Their cleaning service said everything was clean. Very convenient. But look at the reviews. (Unfortunately one was posted after 1 booked and of course their cancelation policy did not allow me to change) Its a filthy house. If you have any sense of smell, and sense if cleanliness and order, if you have eyes, avoid.

It was big enough, the furniture needs replacing inside. (Living room) Porches need better care and to be cleaned.

The cottage was very quaint and beautiful. My family was so excited to take a step back in time. The location is great for beach lovers as it is directly across from beach access. However, our trip was ruined by a cockroach infestation! We were unable to have food in our house or do any cooking. As a large family we rent houses so we can specifically do this. We went to speak with the company that manages the house and rentals and have yet to hear back from the property manager! I am completely disappointed by their lack of response and/or concern. I wouldn’t recommend anyone rent anything from Bryant Real Estate and I have definitely learned my lesson as well.

Only stayed for a few hours, can't really give a review on the property and so forth. Place was clean and comfy.

It was a little to hot to sleep on the ground floor at the time-but sleeping down there would be a good old dog, stair free option.

Great area, easy beach access, and super charming details.Only complaint was an excessive amount of dog much it was on the kitchen table, counters, porch, and all over the bed comforters. There was so much we couldn't sweep and get it all. Recommend a thorough deep clean. We have a hypoallergenic pooch ourselves and love dogs but don't enjoy living in their hair.

Very nice large washer & dryer. Nice outdoor shower to wash sand off before entering the house. Could use some general maintenance such as bushes need trimmed, bathroom door upstairs doesn’t close, drawer near refrigerator rubs & hard to open. There are no kitchen dish towels I suggest bringing your own. We had to use paper towels. Would also be nice to have a least one extra bath towel & wash cloth
