Home away from home. Very clean with a kitchen made for cooking in. Everything you could want or need in a place to stay. My family and I will stay again in a few months.

Perfect condition. The owner did a complete renovation and thought of all the details. Well equipped to a degree not experienced before, well organized, and very, very clean. Owner very communicative and helpful. New furniture and comfortable bed. Orientation book was complete and very helpful. Comfortable seating inside and out with shaded patio. Interesting garden with massive watermelons, tomatoes, pears and cantelopes in back yard.

This was soooo comfortable--it felt like home from the moment we walked in. Lots of space, everything you would need in the kitchen, great entertainment center, laundry facilities and even XL bath towels! Owner is very accessible for questions. Highly recommend Dad's Hangout.

very Good, clean and good communication.

#1: I'm a solo woman and senior traveler with handicap issues at which safe community and housing is my highest priority. #2: Affordability is 2nd as for reasons listed above; however, I can not sacrifice quality of where I will be staying. It must have modern amenities, TV's in bedroom as well as living area, and a fenced in yard or area for my service dog is a HUGE bonus. #3: I need to be close to the destination of my trip so I can attend and enjoy my trip without having to fight traffic or run down neighborhoods.#4: I must be able to communicate with my host often and from booking to checkout. My host must be attentive and reactionary to me when I try to communicate with them #5: the home/rental must be well stocked with needed items such as linens, towels, basic kitchen and bathroom items such as for the kitchen; salt, pepper, oil, paper towels, self cleaning items like dish soap and for bathroom, toilet paper and shampoo, etc. #6: I completely expect for the place I select to stay, to be as advertised AND to look like all the photos provided in the advertisement.I am so happy to say; Dad's Hangout gets a 5 star check off on all categories I have listed! It is exactly as advertised and then some. I was made aware that although it has a nice large, fenced in backyard, he still had work he needs to do on it (PLEASE NOTE: it still fit my needs and didn't interfere with my use).Thank you Dale I hope that your place is available for my next visit.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood

Dad’s House was the perfect location for our 3-night stay. The house was VERY clean, comfortable beds, well stocked with towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. We ate our dinners on the back patio, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Dale was attentive and conscientious. We would definitely stay there again if we chance to be in Farmington again. Only negative was a uneven sidewalk in the front where you exit your vehicle, but it looks like it is being worked on.

Home exceeded my expectations, super clean, comfortable, and updated. It was equipped with everything I needed plus more and I slept better than I do at home.

Dale was awesome. Home was well kept and comfortable. All amenities a person could need for a stay away from home.

Host checked in on us more than once to make sure we had everything we needed. Clean, well equipped rental for a reasonable price. The location worked out great for our exploring the 4 corners region with our grandkids.

Wasn’t a really nice area of town close to everything Dale was very accommodating and there with everything that we needed would recommend this place in Farmington to any of my friends. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Travel Agent recommended! My kids and I enjoy vacation rentals when traveling and of the three we've stayed in this year, this is the only one we didn't want to leave. It was comfortable, clean, updated, well stocked with kitchen, linen, and toiletry items, felt spacious for a two bedroom, close to restaurants, shopping, and fun. We appreciated the host's recommendation for Berg Park, too. We will return and now, I have a great place and experiences to provide to clients going to Farmington!

The owner Dale is very accommodating. His info book is so good I read from beginning to end. Tons of great amenities. Chef's kitchen has everything we needed.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was wonderful. Has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable trip. Large 2 br house. Recently renovated with new appliances and a Weber grill. Quiet neighborhood with a driveway and street parking. Nearby shopping and restaurants. Close to a beautiful riverside park and several historical attractions. Highly recommend.

House was centrally located, very clean, and well appointed with pretty much anything you could want. Would stay again next time we're in the area.

The house was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen had many appliances and utensils available for use and a supermarket is 2 minutes away. The laundry room was well stocked. Farmington is a wonderful town with local eateries and national store chains. It is also a great location for various day trips. We got a lot of hiking in. Communication with the owner was a breeze. We would highly recommend Farmington & this house to anyone traveling to the Four Corners area.

Communication was awesome and we felt completely comfortable reaching out if necessary. The check in guide was clear, concise and comprehensive. Great list for restaurants, and the documentation of the renovations was very cool to see! Would definitely recommend! A experience!

This was the perfect place to stay and to have everything I needed to visit Farmington. This was my third stay at “Dad’s Hangout” (this VRBO) and the place is always as nice, clean and equipped as the last. The owner is very kind and reliable. Dale makes it easy to check in and out and you’ll have everything you need!

Overall, we have nothing negative to say about Dad’s Hangout. It was the best place we could’ve stayed in Farmington, centrally located between all the places we messed to be. Since we have church family who live in Farmington, we will definitely be booking another stay in the future at this Vrbo!

We had a great stay! Dale’s property was amongst the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed at. All the property info was clearly explained in the manual provided. Even the well-stocked linen closet was clearly labeled! It was fantastic. Quiet location, centrally located. Pictures are exactly as the property is in person. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family lives in Farmington and we like to have a place of our own while visiting. THIS IS IT! Lovely space, great amenities and comfortable just like home. This will be our ‘go to’ place when we return for visits.

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Dad's Hangout in Farmington, New Mexico, September 15-18, 2024. Dad's Hangout is offered by Dale Niehaus. It is a fabulously renovated home, in a quiet peaceful neighborhood that is a great place to stay. Dale has gone several extra miles to make sure his guests are welcome, comfortable, and have everything needed for a relaxing, memorable visit. First, the house and neighborhood. Dad's Hangout has been completely renovated and remodeled! Think of PBS's, This Old House, series where an older house is transforemd from its aging weariness to a place that is your dream home. That is Dad's Hangout! What a delight. Beautifully tiled floors, lovely remodeled kitchen, luxurious bedrooms, great remodeled bathroom, exceptionally comfortable, tasteful furniture, and the list goes on. Dale's attention to amenities is remarkable. As an example, in the kitchen coffee in premeasured coffee packets for the coffee maker that make a perfect cup of coffee, sweetners and creamers, bottled spring water, and a remodeled kitchen one dreams about. Beautiful, functionality. Utilityroom with new appliances, lovely dining room with a great table, huge television with all sorts of functions. Covered patio with gas grill and table and chairs. The Farmington area has numerous attractions to enjoy as well as solid restaraunts. We apprecaite Dale's efforts to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you! Farmington and Dad's Hangout is on our 2025 to do list.

Our stay in the apartment was absolutely perfect! The communication with the landlord was flawless, all responses were very quick, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was exceptionally clean and located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. All shopping facilities were near distance, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location of the apartment was an ideal starting point for our trips in the area. We were especially impressed with the excellent amenities – everything needed for daily use and cooking was provided. The host were incredibly kind and responsive, providing clear instructions. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free holiday.
