Cute Cabin in Yachats! Short walk to rivers' edge!

I’m a tired mom, like tired to my bones. I booked this place for a solo retreat and had the best time. It’s my new favorite place. The cabin is curated with beautiful details for comfort and aesthetic. I was at such peace reclined back with the door open to the songs of birds and a tiny waterfall into the still river nearby. A short walk takes you to a private side of the rivers mouth to the ocean. A different short walk to town greets you with yummy food, delicious coffee, and excellent art shops. The area is quiet and tucked away. The wooden walls and ceiling are the perfect and most calming things to stare at mindlessly if you too feel tired to the bones. I slept great, it’s not my bed from home but was great nonetheless. I will be back. I might even bring my whole family.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was cute but spacious and comfortable, well-equipped, reasonably private (given all the lovely windows) and in a fantastic location. We'd stay there again without question. Thank you!

Fabulous little cabin with everything we needed!

Cozy, rustic and comfortable small cottage. Good size for wife and me, or maybe small family of 3 or 4. Vrbo’s listing description and pictures are accurate. Kitchen equipped well with cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. Many unique touches, like the wall art, decorations and more give the cottage a warm and welcoming vibe. Quiet location just a short easy quarter mile walk to town and ocean. The loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The host was very responsive to our communications, access to the cottage was very simple, check in/out was easy. My wife and I are on the 2nd half of our 70’s, we had a very nice time staying at this cottage. Easy to recommend this cottage for a comfortable stay in Yachats.

Just what we were looking for in a family vacation stay

Great for a family with young kids

Nice place to stay. Furniture comfortable. The sound system was static - y. Heating was inadequate. It might be nice to let people know they could bring/ buy firewood ahead of arriving. Lovely location by the river.
