The place was really great. Super, SUPER clean! Communication was really good, but as mentioned, just wifi and no cell coverage, but that didn't bother us a bit! Highly recommend! Oh, and the restaurant they recommend in the pictures was excellent. Very glad we decided to eat there!

The mountain cabin was new, clean, comfy and had a well stocked kitchen! All the comforts of home including a gas wood burning stove.

Beautiful cabin. Well appointed with the random cooking supplies you probably forgot to bring. Internet was great, nice TV setup. Abuts the Ammonusok River (but due to the steepness, it takes a little effort to get there). The river is great (watch for very slippery rocks). Two bedrooms (plus pullout sofa) and two baths can easily accommodate non-related groups. But it is 35minutes from Lincoln, so you need to plan ahead. I might want to try in for a ski weekend this winter even though it is not really close to any slope. The price makes for a excellent value. Thanks, we enjoyed it.

Other than the walk to the river, which we did not try because it was too treacherous, our stay was great. Otherwise the central location was as advertised, the cabin was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Check-in and out were a breeze.

I expected the creek to be a little more accessible from the house. The only other problem we had was the noise from across the creek where someone was running a piece of equipment eight hours a day I realize there’s not much than the landlord could do about that. Overall, we had an excellent day and we certainly enjoyed the house.

The kitchen itself was clean, organized and very well equipped with everything you needed to cook and have a nice dinner. The bedroom was wonderful and a good size and the bedding was very nice. The host was more than willing to share any information pertinent to the residence and was easy to speak to and very personable. The fireplace warmed up the whole kitchen and living area very well. It was exactly what we needed to get away from the city to enjoy the solitude and have a nice quiet place in the evening to relax for the next day. The bed was comfortable and warm. We would love to come back at a later date to enjoy this wonderful property. It was awesome.

Enjoyed the stay, the cabin was very clean, wifi was a bit slow but you are there to relax! Fire pit is a lovely touch. Would recommend bringing soap, throw blanket, your own pillow and smores kit

Nice quiet spot to relax. Everything was clean and host was great. I liked the hidden items in random spots found 4. Lol would definitely come back when i need another relax vacation.

The property and cabin were exactly as described. Very peaceful location right in the heart of nature. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Swiftwater way station is a wonderful country store about 10 minutes away that has a little of everything (including gas) and they make a delicious Italian grinder. Would absolutely book this cabin again!

Absolutely beautiful cabin! The road up there was a bit treacherous, but in an AWD vehicle we were fine. We loved the fireplace, spacious kitchen, double bathrooms, and open concept. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time! Me and me family loved this cabin. The sound of the river was very relaxing. Great location close to all we wanted to explore. It was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen utensils we needed for our stay. The stove heater kept us all comfortable during the winter nights. Will definitely keep in our list of cabins to stay next time we plan a getaway.

We were there for our 26th wedding anniversary. We just wanted a place for some peace, quiet, and relaxation. Everything was great. Exactly what we were looking for.

Wonderful cabin. Surrounded by trees with a view of a river in the ravine. Comfortable, well stocked and prompt response from the manager when we had needs or questions. Would love to stay here again!

Everything was great. Great location tucked back in the woods. Unfortunately for us, we only had one night to spend here and we got in later than anticipated so we didn't get to enjoy the property as much as we planned to. If we are ever around the area again, we would definitely come back.

A relaxing getaway! Great home, well kept. Had everything we needed and more. Spent hours watching river and hummingbirds on the front porch! Beautiful, and fun for all, swimming hole at end of road. Would most definitely book again.

This is our second time staying at the property and our kids are already begging return! The cabin has everything you need, is very clean, and is conveniently located. We enjoyed swimming at the Big Eddy and exploring Woodstock. There are tons of games for the kids to use, DVD’s, or simply sitting on the porch listening to the river and viewing many of the hummingbird visitors. We’ll be back!

this is a really nice property. Very quiet and peaceful. We were there for three days and enjoyed short days trips to see the changing colors of the leaves and came back to cabin to enjoy a beverage on the porch.

If you are looking for a place that is somewhat secluded, but a short drive to small towns, this is the place. The home was very neat and tidy and well supplied with all necessities. We had a problem with a squeaky bed which we communicated with the owner and got a response from the property manager within an hour and fixed the problem that afternoon. Very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
