Cumberland Cottage, 1 level house just off I-24, near Murfreesboro and Nashville

Unfortunately, we walked in to a cottage that wasn't cleaned before we got there. I used their vacuum to clean it and sprayed it down. I tried turning the TV on and it was broken. We went in to the bathroom and the shower was clogged and un usable because it would drain. The sheets were stained. The pots and pans were burnt and stained. I sent a message to the host and tried to call and after a couple of hours, they got back to me and told me where new sheets were and they would bring a new TV tomorrow.. I took off the pillow cases and all the pillows were stained with yellow. I tried to contact the host again to tell them we were fed up and leaving and not continue our stay.We offered to pay one night and be refunded the rest of our stay. After that, the host ghosted me. I took pictures of everything and contacted VRBO. It took a week of phone calls , but eventually VRBO refunded 2/3rds my stay. VRBO still hasn't received a response from the host and they still got paid . Do not stay here!!!! Please beware!

Fantastic time, great pet friendly house with lots of space and well appointed!! Will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

The house was very clean and well supplied. The backyard is big and beautiful. It has a great backporch!

The house had a bad moldy smell.There weren't enough dishes. We had to wash dishes after every meal.There was not one sharp knife in the house.The master bathroom had antsThe master bathroom's shower was set so high up, we couldn't shower in it.The roses (note: thorns) are growing over the sidewalk and porch. There were no dish towels.There were no blinds in the master bedroom, and too much light, making it difficult to sleep.The worst thing is that the driveway is not a driveway but a part of the yard with a strip of dirt/grass in the middle. It was very difficult to see the driveway as we came in past dark and no porch light was left on. Because of that, one of us ran over the culvert to the left of the driveway which had a huge portion of it sticking up. That resulted in a shredded tire!!!!

An adorable home between my daughter at MTSU and my doctor appointment in Madison. Quiet neighborhood. My dog loved the backyard.

It would have been nice to have all of us eat on non plastic plates. Only 4 glass plates, so either we had to use small salad plates or use plastic. Also, we had to clean all the pans before we used them.

We work out of town and this was perfect for us. Was very nice and clean convenient to all job locations. Would stay here again.

It’s a beautiful house with a big fenced in backyard. The house is well stocked and gets lots of sunlight. We loved the enclosed back porch.

pro- location was good. laundry pods were available,soap,shampoo etc host responded promptly beds were comfortable cons- not many dishes back porch steps are shaky lots of cobwebs and window seals had not been clean coffee bar creamer was very hard (couldnt use it) kitchen dish sponge stinks Not worth the price per night. I have paid less for beach and lake houses. Allot less.

The property was clean and as advertised. Easy access to the Interstates into Nashville and Opry Mills. The host was responsive to our inquiries. Overall, a positive experience.

Great little house, perfect for 4 old men having a low key TN bachelor party. Everybody enjoyed the house.
