Nice place, but no windows. Unable too clearly see out of the open side of the dome. Only one way in our out, no emergency exit.

This dome is so cute inside- every detail had a lot of thought put into it. It was modern and even felt cozy. It was very clean and had some of what we were expecting as far as amenities. My only real complaint was that we wanted this for a unique stargazing experience and we felt it was not exactly what was advertised. The windows were either dirty or the material didn’t allow for seeing well at night. It was hard to tell what was going on there. The dome was still very hot during the day, beginning as early as 7am depending on where you slept. The air helped but be prepared to get up early! We also had trouble with some of the outlets not working (after we gave up stargazing efforts, we had to move a few things around in the TV projector area to get it to work). We then got locked out once and had to wait for the system to reboot and it seemed to be glitching. When we messaged the owner, they were initially responsive but then it felt like they didn't really follow up until the next day, which was after our official checkout. Overall, we still made the best of it and enjoyed staying somewhere different ima cool place like Crestone!

The Dome was clean, thoughtfully detailed, and offered a unique stay in Crestone. Communication with the manager was clear and helpful, and we enjoyed the common kitchen area as well as the friendly, welcoming neighbors. The craftsmanship and design throughout the space were exceptional. As a bigger guy, I found the bathroom and standup shower to be on the smaller side, and while the plastic on the windows did a great job insulating against heat, cold, and mosquitos, it also limited the ability to fully enjoy the starry skies Crestone is known for. For me, that missed the mark a little. That said, the overall accommodations were very nice, and for travelers looking for a clean, well-run, and distinctive place to stay, this spot is definitely worth considering.

Property was great no complaints. The weather in June proved a bit too much for the airco to keep up in the afternoon hours. Also the access to the Great Sand Dunes is 60 minutes away, not 17 minutes as stated in the listing.

This cute multi dome home is very comfy with good fans for a comfortable overnight sleep. Star gazing is encouraged but be aware the see through dome does not allow a lot of star viewing from inside. Outside the dome has plenty of seating and blankets so they have you covered.

The property and location is great! It is on the north side of the sand dunes which is about as close as you can stay, though still a drive. There is a kitchen, dining area, bed, and bathroom included. However, it was not made clear in the listing that the kitchen is communal between the three domes and that the second bed is an air mattress. It worked well for our needs, but just note it is not completely private and there are not two bedrooms. The view is excellent though and the dome itself is great! If you are a couple or a small group of friends, I would recommend staying here!

Very nice stay! The dome is perfectly appointed, though I do wish you could see more clearly out of the plastic because the view of the area is so amazing. (That's why I gave it four stars). I highly recommend eating at Our Food is Art in Crestone. The domes do vent in and out from the community kitchen / lobby so there were some fragrant onions cooking later in the evening from our neighbors. While the location is 12 minutes away from Great Sand Dunes National Park, that is not from the visitors center gate which is 45ish minutes away. I would stay there again if ever back in the area. Thank you!
