Creekhouse secluded cabin on Creek in the mountains of northern Alabama

Very relaxing, clean, comfortable and secluded, enjoyed with adult children for wedding.

I cannot say enough about this property! First off the owner contacted me prior to arrival with local info and a festival that was happening the weekend we would be there. The cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, had everything we needed while there. The amount of porch space and there were plenty of rocking chairs. Firewood was available-I don’t believe this is always the case but happened to be while we were there. The view of the creek was spectacular and there is a stairway down to be creekside. Ohhh, and they had the cabin decorated for fall and it just made it all the better. We all talked about going back one day, hopefully sooner than later!

Love the house. Very secluded but right off the road. We loved the creek and were able tube down little sections thanks to the rains. The house is much bigger than it seems and very clean. All the little essentials are here. Smoothe check in and out.

Everything was wonderful

We had 6 people. 2 adults 4 kids stayed 2 days for youth fishing tournament! Loved it. Saving it for next year.

Our family had a wonderful stay while visiting the Southeast Lineman school. What a blessing it is to wake up to see and hear Gods beauty in the flowing river and gorgeous trees surrounding the cabin. We hope to stay here again when visiting our son at school.

The cabin/location is awesome. Sitting on the porch and listening to the creek was so relaxing. Perfect place for a get away.

Everything was so clean when we got there. And Joy was amazing. Any problems we had she was helping us with then no time. The cabin is beautiful. I wish i had only booked it for a could more days. I will definitely be booking a trip back.

If you are trying to find the perfect cabin getaway, you've found it! The cabin and property were stunning. it's truly secluded, and gave us that 'away from it all feel'. We spent the majority of our stay down by the creek, enjoying the sounds and view. Joy is a WONDERFUL host, and extremely thoughtful. With 3 young kids I tend to over pack to ensure we have everything we need, it was completely unnecessary, Joy had already thought of and provided it all. The cabin itself is gorgeous, everything was nice and clean while remaining inviting and comfy.My kids are already asking when we can book again!

Very beautiful place with multiple decks to enjoy the sun, animal life and the sounds and view of the creek. Was a very refreshing place to stay.

We booked Creekhouse for my 47th birthday, and it was absolutely amazing! Not only is the cabin beautiful, but there is something about this place that feels incredibly serene. From the privacy to the peaceful view of the creek, everything was perfect and made for a relaxing and memorable birthday getaway. I highly recommend this cabin and will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at this creek house! From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting by the creek is absolutely beautiful and so calming. We loved sitting outside and listening to the water. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and every space felt welcoming and well cared for. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of our favorite parts was just slowing down and enjoying the surroundings. The creek, the quiet atmosphere, and the overall charm of the place made it really special. The host was also fantastic!!!! great communication and very helpful. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to unwind. Such a special spot! Also, HOW ON EARTH do you get those floors so clean?!?! Such an odd thing to point out I know, but honestly I've never been to a cleaner place!

Pleasant stay, great for spending family time together. Good view of the river and private. Nice cabin that was decorated nicely. Son had a great time playing near the river and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.

The host was very welcoming and everything was excellent. Will be returning.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Creek house. Super nice in every way. Just a short drive to Chattanooga or Cloudland Canyon. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely try to reserve again when I have an event in Chattanooga.

From the moment we walked in the cabin was so inviting. Soft music with beautiful fall scenery was playing on the tv, a scent warmer had the whole place smelling wonderful and lovey fall decorations were in every room. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Tucked back from the road, the cabin seemed private and the creek behind was an added bonus to enjoy. Centrally located to many of the state parks and sites to see in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama, we were able to do so much. Joy gave plenty of suggestions for recreation, food and shopping for supplies and was easily available by text if we had any troubles or questions. We loved it so much, we added a night on to our stay. I hope to come back, but next time we'll plan fewer activities and just relax and enjoy the beautiful cabin and it's surroundings more!

Absolutely stunning home and lot. Our host, Joy, was wonderful. She gave us lots of tips and info on the area. The home was super clean, comfortable and decorated to the 9s. Would highly recommend.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We loved every second of our stay at the creek house. The home is beautiful inside and especially stunning outside. Every square foot is cozy, clean, and inviting. Joy has done an amazing job of making this cabin feel like our home away from home. We will visit again soon!

We can't say enough about our stay at the Creekhouse. Starting with the communication with our host all the way throughout our trip and checkout. The cabin was the most immaculate we've ever had the pleasure to stay in. The location was perfect for day trips that began with coffee on the porch and ended with wine. 10/10! Thank you!

This cabin is by far one of my favorite places I have stayed over the years. The cabin is secluded and so peaceful. We enjoyed cooking out and playing card games on the deck, rocking in the chairs listening to the babbling creek below, fishing and wondering down the creek. We stayed here while we moved our son to SLTC and have already rebooked a return visit at the same cabin for his graduation. That cabin is very spacious, clean and has everything you could possible need. We even enjoyed making s'mores over the fire one evening. The owner was amazing to work with. If your staying in the area book this place, you won’t regret it.

Beautiful property, just didn't realize was going to have no cell phone service to communicate with loved ones back home. No photos to share because without cell service phone would not take photos. Sitting on back porch hearing the creek pass was like heaven to me. SUPER RELAXING!!!!

Hostess made check-in very easy and was helpful describing surrounding stores and attractions. Kitchen facilities were more than adequately supplied.

The property is amazing. The creek is cold but exhilarating. Absolutely amazing everything. Clean comfy and breath taking views. Nothings better than the sound of the creek running with kids playing in the backgrounds while you sip coffee on the porch rocking in a chair. Blissful is an understatement.

This cabin and creek are a dream come true.

We really enjoyed this location. We came for a wedding in the area, but may return to relax sometime. The way it is situated next to the creek and the porches with the rockers were so nice. We all noticed how clean it was when we arrived. The beds were all very large and comfortable. Well worth the money to stay.

This place is amazing. We loved the house and the property. It was a rainy weekend but we were still able to enjoy the creek from the covered porches. We would definitely stay again. My husband said this place is amazing and we will be back if at all possible. Thank you again for all your accommodating and answering all our questions. The sausage from the local market was great. Creekside is always clean, comfortable and contained everything needed for the stay. Loved The creek bubbling and private deck to relax. We enjoyed the parks that are within 30 to 45min from the cabin

Our family needed a weekend away from the normal to reset. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The place was very clean, spacious and relaxing. It was just what our family needed. We are looking at future dates to come back already.

We loved our time at this cabin! A beautiful property, both inside and out. We loved all the outside deck space, and the space down by the creek. It was perfect for our family!

The house, many outdoor places to sit and near by creek were all very comfortable and relaxing. During our stay there were heavy rain and thunderstorms warnings and our host, Joy brought over extra flashlights, large candles and a plug in phone that we fortunately did not need but helped us be prepared. Definitely recommend.

We arrived 12/31 and departed 1/4. Our trip was centered around our son starting SLTC in Trenton and this was the perfect place. The home was immaculately clean and had every amenity that we needed given it is fully furnished with pots/pans/cookware. The rolling stream and spacious multi-level deck were quite relaxing with the morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms/showers fully functioning. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by the TV set with crackling logs and home fully decorated for the holidays. Our host provided recommendations for the market just down the road for wonderful homemade breakfast sausage and other recommendations for local restaurants. If the number in our group allows us to use this location again for his graduation, there's no second alternative in our mind. I can't imagine what this place must be like in the Spring/Summer/Fall with warmer temps to be able to fish/hike. Thank you for the stay and making the drop-off of our son quite memorable. This was our first VRBO stay and you've set a standard that I don't think can be beat.

Our family stay at the Creekside Cabin was just what we were looking for. Beautiful cabin, quiet, clean, and the host was very easy to work with. We enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs. The beds were comfortable and clean. We watched the World Series on the big screen T.V.. If possible we will try to come back again.

This is a great place to stay - very clean and the fall decorations were just beautiful. We got to meet Joy when we checked in. She answered all questions and gave us good recommendations for shopping and restaurants. If ever up that way again, would definitely stay at her cabin.

We loved everything about our stay. The cabin and yard were beautiful. The deck was so peaceful, surrounded by huge trees of all varieties. The inside was spotless and magazine worthy. Imagine our surprise when we saw all the autumn décor, tastefully and thoughtfully done. Living in Florida now, this was especially special to us. The surrounding area was spectacular. Our trips to Chickamauga Battlefield (who knew it was this big and educational) , ROCK CITY (views we NEVER imagined!! This is a MUST SEE) and US Space Center were more than we dreamed of. The owner checked in with us by text twice, and I'm confident that if anything was a concern to us, she would have been right there to fix it. We enjoyed our stay and the area so much. We hope to be returning to the cabin next year to see the fall colors. Definitely something we are looking forward to already! Oh yes, we will be buying more fresh sausage from the local grocer Joey who we also enjoyed.
