This place is excellent! Top notch appliances, very well decorated, and the flow of the home inside and out is very family friendly. Owners VERY responsive and helpful. Location is ideal, close to all you may want, but private enough for relaxing after a busy day. From beds to kitchen utensils everything is there that is needed and the quality is evident. We had everything we needed and wanted!

This beautiful home was perfect for my family of 5! Set in a quiet neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, with shopping and groceries just a short drive away. It really felt like a home away from home. We appreciated the activities for our children to do, both inside and out. The owners were fantastic about staying in touch and really seemed to anticipate our every need. We will be back!

This was a wonderful stay! Chris was incredibly accommodating and communicative. The home itself had everything we needed. All beds were very comfortable. The heat was easy to operate and could be controlled for each room (which allowed different temps in each bedroom depending on preferences).

November 2025. My wife & I, found the house to be in excellent condition. We stayed five nights. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk from the ocean. The house itself was one level with nice sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, washer, and dryer, dishwasher, a sunroom and a living room both with flatscreen TVs. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The host was very welcoming and helpful with suggesting a great place for dinner. Convenient location to everything. We enjoyed our stay.

Due to some physical limitations of people in my group we needed 2 bedrooms on the main level. This home worked great. It was close to many places we wanted to go. Chris was great with communication. Thank you for a great stay

Place was perfect for the family for a weekend stay for a family wedding in York.

The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our two-week stay. The house is within walking distance of two beaches, several restaurants, York's Wild Animal Kingdom, and downtown York. The yard has several areas to hang out in, and there's a deck off the kitchen; all are excellent places to spend time with family and friends. Check-in was easy, and Chris was very responsive. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful time at a great place! Walking distance to the beach, but far enough away for some privacy, which we loved. Chris' house was clean and had the perfect layout for our family of four adults, one toddler, and a dog. We especially loved the back porch and side deck. It was also very well-stocked with essentials, including paper towels, toilet paper, and dish detergent to last us a week. Plenty of room outside to walk our dog. We had an issue on day two and Chris worked hard to get it resolved as quickly as possible. Will definitely return...thanks for a great visit!

Looking for a quiet week away, I found 1Dean Rd in York Me. I wanted quiet, away from crowds, but close to town & beaches.1Dean Rd in York fit the bill. I found the property clean, well appointed and very comfortable.

It was perfect for what we were looking for and everything we needed. Small family gathering one day with outdoor and indoor space for gathering. Close to beach and close enough to UNH. Did not disappoint.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate our daughter’s 11th birthday/ Mother’s Day!It was a beautiful home within a short walk to the beach, and plenty of space for our family of 4 to move around. We would definitely stay again!

This beautifully updated home was all we hoped for; the kitchen was well equipped, the property was immaculate and the location was perfect. We enjoyed Short Sands Beach and the restaurants nearby, especially the Lobster House. The owner is quick to respond to any inquiry and we just enjoyed ourselves so much here. We hope to return again in the future.

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 dogs. The property was clean, very comfortable and the host thought of everything we needed before we even knew we needed it! Easy walk to the best part of Long Sands beach. Quiet, lush location in safe neighborhood. Great sunroom and deck with grill. Loved this place, host was a click away if we had questions otherwise we had full privacy. We will be back!!

We were attending a wedding in nearby Portsmouth, but wanted something a bit quieter. Boy, did we find the spot! Nice, quiet street, house on a nice size lot, with super easy access to all points. Beaches in York are literally less than a 5 min drive. Next time we stay, we’re hitting the beaches!!

We stayed at this vacation house for 5 nights over Memorial day weekend. We were immediately taken with the house and property, and truly enjoyed our home away from home. The house is bright and welcoming with nearly the whole house having been recently updated. The hosts thought of every detail and provided loads of items needed for a great vacation at the beach. The quiet street location was ideal for our family. We definitely plan to return!
