GENERAL SPACE

Get cozy in our single-level townhouse nestled in a quiet complex. Designed and built with natural wood features, this cabin sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pull-out couch.

LOCATION

Unit #10 is located in the upper complex of Taluswood.

Our place is perfectly situated above Creekside Village with nearby access to ski-in and ski-out trails to save you from having to park your car at the bottom of the lift on busy days;ideal for skiers, snowboarders, and of course, mountain bikers.

Heading into the village No problem! With your stay, you have a 24-hour reserved underground parking spot beneath the Delta Hotel in the heart of Whistler Village! Once parked, simply take the elevator up and you'll find yourself in front of El Furniture Warehouse.

LIVING AREA

Our cozy living room features a gas fireplace with a beautiful log mantel, a flat screen TV paired with a Samsung sound bar with a subwoofer that has AUX and Bluetooth capabilities so you can connect your own devices, and a sliding glass door for quick access to the beautiful, covered wood deck where you'll find a natural gas BBQ and two wooden rocking chairs perfect for taking in the mountainous views with a hot toddy in hand. All tile floors are heated, including the entranceway, the fully equipped kitchen, and both bathrooms. The dining area seats 6 comfortably, and the in-suite washer & dryer is a game changer for those who don't like to overpack.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The master bedroom features a king size bed, a flat screen tv, and forest views. The master ensuite features a jacuzzi bathtub with an overhead shower perfect for relaxing those muscles after a long day on the mountain. The second bedroom features two twin (single) beds. The second bathroom is separate from the bedroom and features a glass-enclosed shower. Both bedrooms have individual room temperature controls and, as mentioned above, both bathrooms have heated floors.

SKI / BIKE ACCESS

For the mountain enthusiasts, access to the Dave Murray Downhill Trail is located just up Nordic Drive. Look for a sign across the road on the right of the trail. Please note that this trail is suitable for intermediate levels only and is not suitable for beginners. Head down theLower Dave Murray Downhill trail to reach the Creekside Gondola. The ski-in trail back home is located above the At Nature's Door complex off the Lower Dave Murray Downhill trail.

COMMUNAL HOT TUB & POOL

The communal outdoor hot tub and pool are located in the lower complex that makes up Taluswood. Please note that the hot tub is open year-round, and the pool is open mid-June to mid-September. There is a walkway at the end of Deerfern Lane that leads you down to the pool. There is limited parking available if you'd prefer to drive. There are also change rooms and washrooms on-site. Don't forget your pool key as you'll need it to enter AND exit the facilities.

    Good communication with host….location was very good, easy drive to village and free parking spot helps! We used the ski out and ski in trails….easy walk from condo unit. The cabin was cozy warm comfort and love the balcony for fresh mountain air. This was a nice changed from staying at the village from previous years…great spot if you like quiet mountain side.

    Very cute place. Perfect for two couples or family. Our snow cover this year deleted the ski-in, ski-out option but the unit came with free parking in Whistler Village that saved the day! We used it every day to ski from Whistler Village.

    The host was excellent and the unit was very well equipped and met all our needs. The free parking in the village was a nice bonus which came in handy a couple of time. We did wish the hot tub was closer and the distance limited our desire to go there. The unit was warm and cozy although slightly darker than we would have like during the day.

    David is very welcoming and helpful, all information was clearly communicated. The house was very well stocked and it felt like we were staying at a friends house.Hot tub, garage which is a huge plus for storing ski gear etc.

    Lovely, peaceful spot in woodsy area about 5 minutes drive to Whistler Village. Pet friendly, too. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including single car garage at the condo and a complimentary parking spot in the Center of the Village - a great perk! My husband and I would gladly book again.

    There was a lot to like about this property. The location at Whistler is very beautiful, and the view off the property is so peaceful. We also enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The parking space is a great bonus and makes getting into Whistler Village a breeze. The unit could use some attention, though. The owner let us know once we arrived that the sofa bed had been damaged. He told us it was still workable, but it tilted when our kids laid down, so they had to just sleep on the couch. We also had issues with the tub not holding water. The kitchen could use a clean out of old spices and pantry supplies. The owner is aware, though, so hopefully those issues will be taken care of soon.

    We loved our stay in the condo. It had everything we needed -- it was well stocked and comfortable. The entry area and the garage were set up to be very convenient for skiers. The host was super responsive, flexible and generous. The ski-in/ski-out access is the only tricky part. You need to walk about 50 meters down the road to a hiking trail sign. The trail is narrow and depending on the snow, uneven, and in some places steep. At the bottom of the ski-on access, there is a creek that you need to cross. The ski-in access requires you to ski Dave Murray, a groomed black trail. I am the weakest skier in the family and usually ski just blues, but Dave Murray was great. The challenge comes in skiing an ungroomed section to access the ski-out trail. We did not want to have to deal with a car, so we were very thankful to have these ski-in/ski-out trails. They worked for us (with some luck from Mother Nature who dumped a lot of snow the week we were there), but the access trails may be daunting for a beginner or low-intermediate skier.Again, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Dave and his condo!

    I stayed with my friend. Unit was spacious enough for two people. Full kitchen was very helpful. Everything was as described. We couldn’t use ski in and out option due to lack of snow on low levels, however parking spot at the village was very helpful and very convenient.

    The location of the condo was great, and the parking place in Whistler Village was very helpful! We loved the accessibility to the mountain. The ski in ski out was fun- we liked skiing down the hiking trails to get to the gondola each day. The listing is accurate- the trail that the ski in/ski out is off of is a black, and the trail leading down to it (from near the condo) is tight, so for newer skiers or not confident skiers, it could be difficult to navigate.

    The apartment is very comfortable. We were 5 adults. The kitchen is really well furnished. We used the BBQ a few times. The parking in Whistler was very usefull. We also had a really nice week of ski! We would come back again for sure.

    The ski-in/out part is a bit of a stretch, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. The Creakside gondola is about a 5 minute drive, the Whistler gondola about a 10 minutes drive away. The parking spot in the village is great, especially when you go out for dinner.d

    This was a quiet property away from the busy village. The unit stayed cool on hotter summer days. Everything was clean and well supplied. The access to a reserved parking spot in the village made it convenient to access restaurants and shopping. The owner is also quick to respond to messages/answer questions.
