Cozy summer cottage, short walk to beach and historic Watch Hill village

Enjoyed our stay and lucked out with a beautiful week of weather. Spent time in Watch Hill which is a short drive and the parking passes supplied made it easy to park. The homes layout was perfect for guests with two bedrooms downstairs split by a full bath, and one upstairs. Tub was perfect for bathing little ones and the washer and dryer came in super handy! Lovely screened patio space outside to enjoy your morning/evening routine listening to birds without bugs and great yard space! Lots of beach supplies in the basement included which helped. Would rent again.

The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. As the first guests of the season, we had some difficulty accessing the television, but the host worked with us for well over an hour to get it set up, even though he was on vacation himself. This would have been a five star review, except that the walk to the beach was not the short walk promised in the ad, but an 18 minute walk that would be difficult for the elderly or for small children. Parking near the beach was generally not available. Fishing at a local breakaway was excellent.

Fab stay - great location, so easy!

We loved the screened porch for morning coffee and enjoying a few rainy days. Great location for scenic walks and not too far from the village or beach access. Ken was very helpful in answering any questions and ensuring our stay was seamless.

I've never rented such a lovely house in such good condition! The pictures don't do it justice. The stairs lead to a bit of a loft, putting a very high ceiling over the living room, which gives it an airy feeling. The screened in porch is just heavenly. Also, we didn't know it would come equipped with a bike, a ton of beach chairs, boogie boards, Scrabble, cards, etc. Our only complaint had to do with Watch Hill, whose exclusivity translates into a lack of diversity, illegal blocking of beach access by seaside homeowners, and byzantine parking regulations designed to keep nonresidents out. To be clear, the rental comes with a parking sticker, but even then you need to learn where and how it can be used. If only the neighborhood of Watch Hill could be as awesome as this house is! The house itself was wonderful, and you can easily orient yourself toward Westerly and Misquamicut Beach if you prefer a more democratic vibe.

This is a perfect size house for a family vacation. It came with a parking pass for beach access, and the Watch Hill shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Excellent internet service with Verizon FIOS. A public Donald Ross designed golf course was just a five minute drive away. This property needs no improvement!

We enjoyed a week at this cozy, well-appointed cottage. It's within walking distance of Watch Hill beaches, lighthouse, and shops. It was ideal for the two of us and would be great for a small family.

The home and property were immaculate and absolutely charming. We especially enjoyed dinners out in the beautifully lit screened in porch at the end of the day, where we could actually hear the sound of the waves crashing. We made wonderful family memories in Watch Hill this summer, which we will certainly cherish for years to come. Thank you for everything Ken!
