Cozy & Spacious Home Near Downtown Viroqua - 4BR + Bonus Basement Sleeping

This large house was just right for us. There were enough rooms and beds for our group of 10 people (including 4 couples). We all gathered in the large front room. The property was clean and in good condition. The host decorated for Christmas! We would definitely stay here again.

I reserved this for out of town family who were coming for a funeral. They were very happy with this rental. Very spacious with enough privacy for each as well as common areas to share together. The location was quiet and peaceful and near everything they needed. Affordable, clean and quiet. A nice alternative to hosting everyone or a hotel. Thank you

Very roomy…very nice. Only negative is that there are only two bathrooms (for 8 people) and one of the bathrooms has no shower. We are all too old or physically unable to get out of a bathtub…once we would get into it!!!Fortunately, our event was not until 1:00 p.m., so we did have time for everyone to get in a shower before having to leave!

Perfect spot to stay for motorcycle rides in the Driftless region.

House was clean and had everything we needed for our bike trip.

It was clean, very roomy and stocked well with towels etc. The washer and dryer use was wonderful. I would recommend that the dehumidifier is plugged in constantly as the drain hose was connected but there was no outlet in reach and no heavy extension cord supplied. I moved to access an outlet and then just emptied the bucket when full which would fill in about 6 hours. It was nice to have ice maker refridgerator. The humidity really swells the bathroom doors and would be nice to have a gas grill vs charcoal but understand may be a safety issue. There were plenty of T.V.s with most hooked up and we made good use of 4 bedrooms on main floor and also daybeds in basement although aforementioned humidity was high.(80% down to 60% with dehumidifier). Also surprised to have gutter replacement crew arrive at 6:00 A.M. on last day. Overall we would stay again as items were well supplied and there was plenty of space!

The state was fine other than a small issue with the deck

We were a party of 7 adults, converging from around the Midwest in Viroqua. The property was spacious, well-appointed and with full amenities. Gratefully, we had relatively warm Spring weather, and could enjoy the lovely porch a good bit. The property is minutes from downtown, and proximate to walking paths. I would return!

Everything about this home was great. The beds and furniture were super comfy. The owners were a pleasure to work with and communication was easy. The home was very clean and had great amenities. Spacious layout and great location.

Was a very wonderful stay. Kitchen was big and great to cook a huge dinner Thanksgiving Day. Just not enough toilet paper, dish washer soap and could have used a few more towels. I would book this house again.

This was our second stay and we found the home was clean, had the amenities we needed and served as the perfect home base for crafting and exploring the driftless region.

My group of four friends gathered in Viroqua for our annual weekend get away. This property was an easy walk to the historic downtown. There was plenty of room for us, although we did have to juggle shower times. While there are two bathrooms, there is just one shower.

Very clean, comfortable beds & chairs

Overall its a nice property with a reasonable location to Main Street and has plenty of space to lounge with friends and/or family with its 2-family rooms and 4-bedrooms each with a king or queen bed. The downside to this property is if you have 4+ people staying here... there is only ONE working shower. There is a second bathroom but there is not a shower head in it. Thus you have to plan ahead for taking showers with more people in the house. For us with 8 adults it was a little rough around the edges all of us jarring to use the shower in the morning before heading out for the day, or in the evening trying to get ready to head out on the town.

House was perfect with tons of room and everything we needed. Cooked dinner a few nights at the house. Will rent again if available next year.

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Perfect for family gathering with our adult children that we don’t get to see very often.

Being able to have enough room and beds was a plus for seven adults. Spread all over Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois it was great to call this home during our stay. We made wonderful dinners and socialized… maybe got some fishing in there too. We had great communication with the owners.

Great space. Clean, fully equipped! Proprietor was wonderful to work with. Definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the Viroqoa area. Hope to be back next year.
