Cozy Saint Louis Cottage near Major Landmarks

Lovely home!

Comfortable and cozy in a quiet neighborhood and so convenient to jump an a highway to go see the sites St. Louis is famous for. Host is immediately responsive if questions arise. The bungalow is spacious and a relaxing place to be at the end of a busy day

This is our third time staying here. Every experience has been absolutely fantastic! The property is older, but well maintained, clean, and exactly as described. Combine that with the fact that it is dog friendly, and there's a reason we keep coming back.Overall, I'd HIGHLY recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in St. Louis!

We had a great stay at this charming cottage in a quiet neighborhood. There's a great park within walking distance that offers walking trails, pickle ball courts and lake fishing. A grocery store just a 5-minute drive away makes it so easy to stock the fridge and make that quick trip for more milk. This house is only 10-15 minutes from most of the major attractions in the area (Gateway Arch, City Museum, Science Center, Grant's Farm, St. Louis Zoo). Check-in and check-out was very simple and there was great communication with a friendly host. If this property is available for the dates you need, grab it up, you'll be glad you did.

Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs) enjoyed our stay. Most importantly, the house was clean and located in a safe neighborhood. My daughter and I walked our dogs through several blocks, and in the nearby Carendolet park and never felt unsafe. The rooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The backyard is fenced in, which was convenient for our dogs. The kitchen has the basics for preparing meals, and a nice coffee pot and tea kettle. We liked being able to cook some meals instead of eating out all the time. The basement had a washer and dryer which was a nice bonus. It was well stocked with toilet paper, toiletries, dishwasher tabs, etc. We appreciated the games/cards that were there to play. Mabel was great at communication without being overbearing, and the check in/out procedures were easy. It was about a 15 minute drive to most attractions (the arch, city museum, zoo, science center). We would highly recommend this property to others, and would stay here again if back in St Louis.

We had a good stay. I would warn people the beds and sofa are extremely hard. They made my back hurt every day.

We were very satisfied with this rental. - Well Kept & clean property- The neighborhood was good & felt safe- convenient location to all major attractions (10-15 minute drives)- The rooms were clean and the house was comfortableI will recommend for people who have pets to be careful if you use the back door to take pets outside. The back stairs are a bit steep and can be dangerous for the four legged guests. It would be nice if there was a better railing, there is one top rail and the lower section is open which is a little concerning. We would highly recommend this property as its affordable, the host is very responsive, and the property was great.

It was perfect for what we needed. The location was great. We felt safe where we were. The beds were comfortable. The only complaints are, there is not enough space to put stuff if you’re curling your hair or doing make up. There are mirrors. But I had to find a spot to put my curling iron, so I didn’t burn anything. And the couch is not comfortable to sit on. But we were not there long enough to really care about the couch. We just needed a place to sleep and shower really. It seemed pretty well stocked with kitchen items, if you plan on cooking there. There were plenty of towels. I was a little worried I would be cold at night because the blanket was thin. But with the flat sheet and the blanket, I was fine. There were plenty of pillows. It was a great place for our quick long weekend getaway.

Easy to get to and from sights to see. Off street parking and near a park. Lots of nice little details like starter coffee, tea and kettle, brita filter for water in the fridge, ice made, etc. Easy communication with host though not much ever needed. Great stay!

Quiet neighborhood and great, cozy house. House is older, but everything is updated. House is located close to great, local restaurants and sightseeing locations. Will definitely stay with again.

This was our second stay here and, as with before, our time there was fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend this property to any renter looking to spend time in STL. Great neighborhood, quiet area, awesome parking, perfect house.

We enjoyed our stay!

Awesome little spot. My husband and I stayed for 8 nights and it was very comfortable. We cooked every meal and were able to walk the park or the canal after dinner each night. Neighborhood was quiet and full of beautiful homes. Would stay there again for sure!

The home is located in a great neighborhood. Close to multiple parks and some of the best food options on The Hill and Ted Drewes famous frozen custard. Two memory foam king sizes beds, a kitchen with updated appliances and a large sink, large dining table, and a cozy family room helped our family enjoy our stay. If it were a bit cooler during our visit we may have taken an evening or two in the sunroom. Mabel is an excellent host. We received timely and thoughtful communication leading up to our stay in addition to a quick check-in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will stay there again when we visit again!

The house was exactly as described and very cozy. Neighborhood was fantastic. We really loved Carondelet Park, which is walking distance a few blocks away. The host was very accommodating and made extending our stay SUPER easy. Highly recommend!!!
