Stayed May 22, 2026This place is a true Diamond in the Rough with an emphasis on the rough part. The host was AMAZING and even left us extra towels after I reached out him directly, the place was tidy and clean, and we enjoyed the extra amenity of having the garage. I even had to reach out to the host to adjust the thermostat because it was getting humid and warm in the afternoon and he happyily lowered it for us without discussion. I will say while having the garage was nice, it was difficult to park in due to the small size and the fact that the garage doors had to be opened from the inside of the house. So every time we came and went someone would need to run back into the house to close the garage door. I will also add that the neighbourhood that this house is located in is very run down and we felt uneasy driving to and from, HOWEVER, it is close to downtown Columbus (5 minute drive) so should be expected. I would not feel safe alone in the neighborhood or standing outside of the house. What I also assumed was a driveway to only our house is actually a long drive that leads to another area (so do not be alarmed if other cars are driving right by the garage like we were). Overall, this was a great pick if you are familiar with the area and I would book any home with this host which is why I gave it an excellent rating!!!
