Cozy Ocean Side Beach Cottage at Fantastic Location North End of Virginia Beach

Wonderful location, very clean. Would book again.

Cottage had everything we needed. Kitchen well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. It’s a short and pretty walk to the beach and close to walking, biking and hiking trails.The host was very helpful and welcoming. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you to the host!

My family of three stayed for a week in the peak season. The location and house were great. We don’t like when the beach is crazy busy, and this spot was perfect. The house included enough basics that we didn’t really need to use what we brought, save a couple items we preferred our own over what was there.We had an issue with the hot water, which we contacted the owner about halfway through our stay. They got a plumber out quickly but they weren’t able to fully solve the issue during our stay. Honestly; it wasn’t a huge deal for us considering the rest of the house was great, and we were pretty much only sleeping there.Turned out to be a great week. Will absolutely consider staying again for future vacations.

We had a lovely stay in the beach cottage. Everything was as described, clean and comfortable. The extra use of beach chairs was the icing on the cake. A great place to stay for a long weekend.

Cute cottage with great beach access and a quiet location at the end of Atlantic. Far enough away from everything to relax but close enough to have easy access to anything you'd like.A few small notes; when we arrived, there was a cracked wine glass on the counter and the toilet paper holder in the main bathroom was off the wall. There was a small hiccup with accessing the unit when we arrived. These were easily resolved and no fault of the host, who was prompt and gracious. My kiddos loved having easy access to the beach and piling onto the sleeper sofa for movie night.Would stay again, thank you for having us!

We loved staying at this cozy cottage! It was just enough space for our family of 4 and a great location by the lighthouse and beach. Everything was provided as stated in the listing and our kids loved taking their buckets of sand toys to the beach, with a very close beach access point. The kids already want to come back!

I needed a place close by a 5 day class I was taking. The house had everything I needed. The host was great at communicating with me and answering questions. Even though the weather wasn't ideal for the beach, I enjoyed how easy and close it was. I miss walking every day on the beach. I even made a local friend on my walks! They have lots of things to use on the beach in the shared laundry room. This is a duplex with a shared laundry room. I had the first few days alone, but when the other guests arrived, I didn't really notice them. I did like the other unit's outdoor area better. It was bigger and had Adirondack chairs which I love. My complaints were There is a slight old house smell. they do have an air purifier. If you are very sensitive with allergies, this may be an issue. Also the early morning cars entering Ft Story gate which is near the house bothered me. I am a light sleeper, and I ended up switching to the bedroom away from the road. Water pressure was a little light in the shower but good everywhere else. Main bathroom may be a little tight for tall people. This is very sweet cottage and I think most people would be very happy.

Usually, we book at the Virgina Beach Boardwalk but this time, we wanted to try something different and decided for North Beach - it was a perfect stay. We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and relaxed atmosphere at the beach. The cottage had all amenities we needed, was super-clean, well maintained and decorated very tastefully with a beach theme. Located 2 minutes from the beach, this cozy and beachy cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Virginia Beach. Everything was perfect!

Great stay.

We loved our stay here! The outdoor patio is so cute and the inside is cozy without feeling cramped (except maybe the bathrooms - those are small but we made it work). The kitchen is super roomy and we LOVE the location! It’s in a quiet, private neighborhood and the walk to the beach takes less than 5 mins. We had a great week!

Pros: We love the north end location of this property. Access to beach is great. Living area is a good size. Making arrangement and getting information/communication very easy. Generous closet space. Cons: Bathroom toilet space too tight for my tall family, and shower has very low pressure. One towel rack coming off bathroom wall, so unusable. Pantry moths in kitchen and spreading through house--easily solved problem. Kitchen lacks pitcher. Several bedroom dresser pulls come off when pulled.
