Great place to stay!

The apartment was perfect for us. It had everything that we needed and the location was very convenient, walking distance to town and to our family that we were visiting. I appreciated having an electric tea kettle to make my morning tea.

Great location. Really nice property. Helena is a great host. The only comment, not a complaint, just an FYI, is there is no dishwasher and the TV is not a smart TV so you can’t stream shows. Overall had a great stay.

To start, it’s larger than it looks in the photos. It is very well kept and clean. The windows let in lots of light and breezes. If you stay during the summer, open the windows at night to let the cool air in then close them in the morning; the place will remain cool. The kitchen is well equipped. The iron is fantastic. The washer and dryer are quiet and efficient. Close walking distance to parks and Main Street. The pull-out sofa is extremely comfortable! The host is amazing! We will definitely book again.

The stairs are a killer. I would not stay here again. There are probably 16 vertical steps to get to unit

I felt relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. The space has plenty of natural light, live plants, and artwork. The bed is super comfortable; the small kitchen perfect for preparing a simple meal.

Great accomodation with everything we needed. Would be petite for 4, but excellent for us. Only downside was the driver then buys to the aspen slopes, but that is a compromise we were prepared to make.

The location is very quiet. The host was very accommodating. We definitely will return to Carbondale and stay here again.

Simple, lovely space in a quiet neighborhood but with easy access to activities in Carbondale and the Roaring Fork River valley.

the top floor accommodations were great. beds comfortable, good shower pressure, great location: easy walking to main street. Helena was very responsive and accommodating. would definitely stay here again!

We had a very relaxing start to this year's holiday season by staying to ski for a couple of days in the Aspen area.We loved the place and what the town had to offer.Would definitely come again.

This place was spot on! Super clean, super comfortable! We drove in from IL, which was a long drive. When we got to our rental, we relaxed immediately. This place has charm, warmth and all the amenities a person(s) need. This will be a place we will be returning to.

We had a great long weekend in Carbondale with Helena. The space was immaculate and roomy and had everything you would need for weekend away. Great location, easily walkable to all Main Street shops and restaurants. Will definitely book again if in the area.

17 steps up awarded us this clean, bright & tastefully-decorated one-bedroom apt. with double sofabed, (perfect for our additional family member!) The apt conveniently has a modern stack washer/dryer set in a closet. The proprietor, Helena, was very helpful, providing information, as well as plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. She really showed genuine care for our needs & satisfaction. The apt is conveniently located to Sopris Park (around the corner), shops, restaurants & cinema on Main Street, plus access to the biking path & library just two blocks away. More commercial establishments, including The City Market, are within walking distance, or a short drive away. We had family to visit in Carbondale, but also enjoyed hiking, picnicking, and rafting, with easy drives to Glenwood Springs, including more shopping, dining, swimming in the hot springs, & entertainment. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Powell Art Museum, Redstone, Basalt, & Aspen as well. The local transit system is convenient & well worth taking to the city of Aspen & to the airport, especially to be able to safely view the magnificent surrounding scenery! And this VRBO apt is in the middle or it all! Thank you Helena!
