Cozy Lake Hartwell Cottage near Tugaloo State Park

Very comfortable accommodations. Convenient location and nice neighborhood. Felt right at home!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had all the amenities needed for a long stay. The location is great - close to restaurants and activities. We would stay again.

Everything worked perfectly for us while we were in town. Check-in process was easy. Place was clean and comfortable. No issues at all. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Kitchen had everything we needed to cook beds were very comfortable. Our grandkids really enjoyed hanging out with us there. Very quiet neighborhood.

Melanie was more than accommodating to us for our stay, allowing us not only early check in but also allowing us to add a day at the end of our original reservation. The cottage is very clean, and has so many “extras” that made our stay so comfortable, welcoming and easy! She includes so many items that, while not strictly necessary, are so thoughtful and made our stay much more home-like. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll absolutely stay here again.

It was a nice place, had everything you would need, inside appearance was clean and no bugs inside.My only complaints was that a few of the sheets smelled like dog, (but that’s coming from us who don’t have inside animals) and the grass was not cut.

We wanted a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a few days. It was quiet and restful We weren’t sure that would be the case as our first look at the property was disappointing. It looked like the yard hadn’t been mowed in over a month! We thought maybe the rain had been the reason but we noticed all the other neighbors were nicely cut. The house seemed clean throughout. We did notice a few roaches though. The kitchen was well stocked with our needsWe did appreciate the many upgrades in the home. The master bedroom was tastefully decorated we could see it was well done. The mattress was very comfortable! The second bathroom though not remodeled was clean. It is good there was a bathtub and a walk in shower.Thank you for the stayAndrea!

We loved how clean the house was. Close to the lake and Tugaloo Park. Property owner was great to deal with. Close to Anderson and Commerce for food options.

Overall good

My husband and I needed a place close to a wedding reception. This was perfect as it was just less than 10 minutes away. We brought our pups with us and the yard was perfect for them to be able to play in. House was more than we needed but we would for sure stay again if we ever came back to the area. The host is also so nice and helped with all my questions!

This was a nice cozy home. It was clean and well organized. The only detail was that it does not have access to the lake but it’s a 10 minute drive to the park that has a nice beach. ?️ in the listing it says that the beach is part of the property but it is not.
