Stayed Nov 28, 2025Had a great time in Lake Ann. Even with the snowstorm while we were there. The cabin was clean and well maintained. If we forgot anything, the General Store had it. Chad kept in touch the whole time we were there which was very much appreciated. Thanks again

Stayed Sep 24, 2025This a great place to be for a more relaxed stay, but still have easy access to Traverse City and the other cute lake towns in the area. Northport was 30 minutes away and everything else was about 15 minutes away. We would definitely come back.

Stayed Sep 7, 2025Great location close to everything! The hosts have not missed a thing in terms of a well stocked house. The entire process was easy, and Chad was quick to answer my message. Check out was equally easy. It was clean and welcoming. It was a perfect place for our girls’ getaway!

Stayed Aug 21, 2025Excellent experience. Very clean. Stocked with extras. Quick to respond to questions. Loved the variety of bed options (firm to soft). Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Garage to park in was a very nice bonus. Location was perfectly situated for our plans. Would stay again if we are in the area and the house is available.

Stayed Aug 11, 2025The owners have done a lot of planning and it shows. Virtually anything you can think of they have on hand. This home was clean, well appointed, and convenient. The communication with the owners was almost instantaneous! We used this home as a springboard for our excursions to the east, west and north. This time we got to traverse (pun?) almost every major road in Grand Traverse and Leelanau county. The town of Lake Ann has a wonderful grocery store, ice cream shop, pizza shop and pub. Word to the wise: the lines for pizza can get pretty long if you wait too late for supper! After spending 8 nights here we can recommend it highly!

Stayed Aug 4, 2025The house worked very well for us. The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to Lake Ann Brewing for live music or to the Red Door Cafe for a morning coffee or a quick enough drive to anywhere in the greater Traverse City area. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host easy to communicate with and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025I traveled with my son's family which includes three grandsons. We had a great time staying here. The kids spoke with neighbors and were able to fish from nearby properties when we weren't on the go doing activities and seeing sights. Great location near many things.

Stayed May 29, 2025Chad’s place was lovely and perfect for our visit to the Traverse City area! It had comfy beds and everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend. A big perk was being able to park in the garage. Made it easy to unload and load the car before and after travel. We would 100% stay here again!

Stayed Oct 9, 2024Our first impressions were that it was very cute, had enough space, and was very clean! The first night the thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning so I contacted Chad in the morning and he came over on his lunch break! Easy fix...just needed new batteries. We then asked him for suggestions on things to see/places to eat. He gave us many and even sent messages later with additional! Was located in the perfect spot right between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Perfect location for the Fall color tours you can drive. Beautiful. When they say the local grocery store (a few minute walk) has a little bit of everything, they aren't kidding. They've thought of everything. The local eatery was SOOO good and the brewery as well. All in all, we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 7, 2024Our family came from Northeast Ohio to visit family in Interlochen. It was the first time we had been up there since 2010. We had five adults, one toddler and 2 dogs. We were very comfortable and close to everything. The motto in the general store in Lake Anne is if we don't have it you don't need it. They had everything. Traverse City was a 20 minute drive. We traveled there several days. We enjoyed the parks and toured a lighthouse. The evenings were spent on the deck around the fire pit with our family enjoying our time together. Our host Chad is a great guy and he was very easy to contact. The week went quick. If we venture up north in the future, we would definatley stay again. Thanks Chad for making this a comfortable stay!

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We had a great time staying in Lake Ann and at this house. Beds were wonderful! The house is about 15-20 minutes or so from Traverse City and 20-30 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes, so the house is in a great spot. House had everything we needed to relax after a day at the beach or shopping in Traverse City - great beds, shower, washer/dryer, deck with outdoor seating. A restaurant, local brewery with live outdoor music, and a general store for quick grocery needs are all about a 1/2 mile away. Host was very responsive when we had to reach out to him. It really was a nice stay and would stay again in the future if we're back in the Traverse City area.
