We loved this cute, cozy and comfortable home that is convenient to all the many attractions of this area. Everything was very clean and the owner very welcoming and ready to assist if we needed anything. We would definitely like to stay here again.
We had a great time hiking and exploring the area. Very clean house on beautiful property. Chad was responsive and accommodating in all ways. Fun for our dogs too!
My husband, dog, and I enjoyed staying here. The house was just what we wanted for our Michigan vacation and booking with Chad was effortless. Also this home is in a great location. We would be happy to stay here again. Thanks!
Nice place better good place to stop
Was a great experience, host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Enjoyed the beautiful property. Would recommend to anyone coming in the area
Great place to get away in a great location. The place had everything we needed. We would gladly stay there again.
This house was the perfect place for our family to chill after busy days of exploring. Right between Traverse City and Esch Beach/sleeping bear dunes so only about a 20 minute drive either way. The Lake Ann town was full of charm, yummy food (Stone Oven was amazing), and good coffee. The host, Chad, was a pleasure to deal with. The check in and out process was super easy and he was very responsive when we had questions about activities in the area. The house itself was clean and cozy. Would definitely book again the next time we are in the area!
The Lake Ann house was the perfect size and location for our exploration around The Cherry Coast. Little details added up to relaxing and comfortable stay: dog run for our pup, deck with cozy chairs for morning coffee, thoughtful supplies/amenities in kitchen, loved having garage for cars
We had a great stay at Chad’s place in Lake Ann! The home was perfect for our family of four ( 2 little ones) and had everything you could possibly need! Super Cozy beds and sheets, plenty of towels for both bath and kitchen, spices/cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, etc. We loved the reclining couches and soft blankets to relax after a long day of exploring the area. Cute yard and awesome deck- we especially liked making s’mores on the deck at night. TV with Netflix and Hulu and a sound bar was a plus, especially to keep the kids entertained. We brought our fire stick but didn’t need it. They even had these itineraries for local things to do which was very cool and we followed several of them. The location could not be better. Lake Ann is such a cute little town and we were able to enjoy some of the local businesses, parks in the downtown area including the ice cream and brewery with it’s live music. Tip- go early, it was super crowded on a Saturday night. We didn’t get a spot but hung out in the park across the street and could still hear the music. From Lake Ann it is a quick hop onto M22 it was the perfect base to explore Frankfort, Empire, Glen Arbor, Leelenau, Suttons Bay and Traverse City. We did everything we set out to and we enjoyed coming home to the house each day. I look forward to returning. The kids always say they miss the vacation house !
With a prior reason for some in our family to be in the Lake Ann area already, we were able to tag on a two-night stay to enjoy what that spectacular northern Michigan area has to offer. We enjoyed local kayaking, biking, driving around the Traverse City Bay area, and eating at a few local spots, all with this VRBO as our perfect landing spot in between times. The owner was quick to help and offer his best guidance to activities in the area, easy to communicate with, and provided a wonderful, clean, safe, and well-stocked home in which to stay for our short jaunt. A highlight was sitting on the lovely back deck in the evenings! Highly recommended and hope to return again next year!
We loved this house! The location was a great launching pad to get to various lakes, towns, wineries and events. The back deck was peaceful and private. It was great to have use of the garage to store our wave runner for added security. One can tell that this place is offered as a labor of love with sweet details of the beautiful flowers and charming décor. The place is a true value and the town offered a nice coffee shop and brewery with live music. Thank You!
This was a really nice place and had everything we needed--very comfortable beds, nice towels, well-appointed kitchen, and a lovely deck.
We loved the big, private deck, the comfortable beds, and the well-appointed kitchen. There is even an extra ice maker! Lake Ann is a very cute little town and my 70 yr old dad had a lot of fun hearing live music at the Lake Ann Brewery. We also enjoyed the restaurants in town. We don't have kids, but there is a playground in town that is very nice and looked like fun. Chad's place is close to Traverse and close to the National Lakeshore, as well as the Platte River - the location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Chad!
The home was perfect for the little getaway with friends and family!
