Stayed Jul 17, 2025Host saw us on ring doorbell and assumed we had an animal (it was a stuffed animal) and cancelled our stay without discussing with us first. This detoured an entire day since we had to drive back in a flash flood to prove it was a stuffed animal and not a living creature. They agreed but did not uncancel the stay saying they were not able to. They sent us a 75 gift card to compensate but missing out on a day of play did hurt the vibe of the trip. The dock and the house itself was very nice, and located close to everything we needed. But it did hurt to not be trusted and just cancelled on when we did nothing wrong
