Cozy Downtown East Tawas Home!

Host fairly quick on responses; place/location decent; observations/suggestions from our stay: Not enough living room furniture (6 people, 4 spots if 3 squished on couch), dining table chairs exceptionally uncomfortable (and only 4 available for 6 people), no kitchen towels or dish cloths, refrigerator dirty; also don’t remember the description mentioning coffee pot type, which could also use a cleaning; dishwasher did not work and washed all dishes (including the dirty ones already there) by hand w/borrowed cloths as none available at the house; very few utensils, again not enough, and also plates, cups, etc very few; no bowls for mixing salad (large serving bowl) or mixing bowl to whip up scrambled eggs, etc; oven took very long to heat up and was not level; freezer/fridge turned so high that everything froze in drawers in fridge (didn’t think to look at that until too late); no bath wash cloths; no shovel available in winter; no curtain in upstairs bedroom and window seal very dirty; no hangers in front cleaning closet and not enough hooks for winter coats (coat rack by front door very unstable); no storage in bedrooms, (except a “closet” area in upstairs w/air conditioner, fans, and a couple beach towels thrown in); only tiny rug in entry so very slippery when walking in; not aware that this is a part of a duplex, which all in all was fine, but not aware of until arrived

Nice stay. Could use some basics. Salt and pepper, dish towels and cloths, wash cloths. Other than that very nice home.

Host was extra accommodating when our plans changed last minute. Very responsive. Had an excellent stay. Great location. Easy walk to town. Clean and comfortable.

Our girls weekend stay was great, would for sure stay again. Couple of things to make it better, supply ample toilet paper and offer hair dryers in both bathrooms, other than that, it was great!

Place was cute! Close to downtown and great location! Would stay here again. My kids wished there were games/ puzzles to play/do. Wished there was a dresser in bedroom on first floor.

The house was very clean. Theres an upstairs bedroom with two queen beds that worked out well for the young adults.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was close to town. It is a cute, updated home. Our overall experience was positive. However, there were a couple of items that we wanted to mention. The windows in the bedrooms do not have shades or curtains. When cars drive by at night, the lights shine through the windows, making it difficult to sleep. In addition, people on the outside can see through the windows. The first floor bedroom needs a small dresser. The main floor window (with the air conditioning unit) needs a shade. When the air is on, the curtain blocks the ac unit. It should be mentioned in the description that this is a duplex. We did not know this was a duplex until we got our check in information. We feel these items would make the stay better.

Overall impressed by the size of the bedrooms and the cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay very much. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

this was our second time at the home very nice for two couples kitchen has all you need to make breakfast lunch or dinner two bathrooms great for two couples location close to lots of things to do..

We paid almost $350 for a one night stay ($100 pet fee) for a DUPLEX home. We did not think this was a good value-no central AC and no screens on windows except 1st floor bathroom, no ice from ice maker, k-cup reusable cups for keurig. Could be better with improved amenities and lower price tag!!

It was an awesome location and house was very clean and organized. Our only wish was that there was a dresser or cabinet in the first floor bedroom. Didn’t have anywhere to put things. Otherwise, very close to downtown and comfortable accommodation. Thank you !

We stayed here for 3 nights with our adult boys and 1 behaved crated dog. Three comfortable Queen beds provided plenty of sleeping space. The main area and bedrooms are very large; we had plenty of room for our things and the dog's things. Very clean and under a 10 minute walk to town! The hosts were quick to respond to any message sent throughout our time. We loved the double entrance having a separate area for beach stuff. The a/c units worked well and we were all very comfortable as it was 90 degrees outside during our stay. The large yard was a very pleasant surprise to us and we enjoyed the firepit/chairs. There were other residents also staying on this property sharing the back yard which we didn't expect (in their own homes). We just had to be mindful when taking our dog out as it would set off theirs. This duplex is a great find and the hosts have done a wonderful job caring for it and providing information to the guests! We already recommended it to our friends and would definitly stay here next time.

The place is beautiful and fit our family perfectly. It was close to my sisters condo and right in town. Would love to rent it again next year same weekend if available.

This house was for my kids to stay at when I got married. It was nice and cozy and nicely decorated. Check in process was easy. If needed, will book it again.

Cleanliness is very important to me and this home did not disappoint. Spotless and fresh. Host was very quick to respond to our inquiries. Five star customer service. Perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and near our family. Highly recommend!

Property was very nice and clean. Would be nice if bedrooms had ceiling fans since no air conditioning except for small unit in living room and upstairs hallway. Internet Service kept disconnecting.

Great little property just a quick walk to downtown. Check in was simple and they didn’t leave a list of chores for check out. Owner was super responsive and friendly. We rented bikes and rode to the state park to lounge on the beach. Will definitely look for this property for our next visit!

We enjoyed our stay! Home was clean, and cute! Had everything we needed. The upstairs bedroom was quite warm and fans didn’t help much. There was a second air conditioning unit in the upstairs closet but we didn’t know how to install it or if it worked, so we slept downstairs on the couch to stay cool. Not a deal breaker. All in all, great place!

We had a wonderful time in this property. It was comfortable and spacious. We had a few questions and the owner was so helpful. I highly recommend this lovely place for a getaway.
