Cozy Dog Friendly Beach House -WALK to Beach, State Park, Restaurants and More!

This a a beautifully decorated, spotless rental. Lisa is a great host. Very responsive, and thinks of all of the welcoming details you could want. We had a wonderful girls weekend here. There is a very busy road not far away, but the house is so solid you would never know when inside. If you're a fan of Mexican food, Tequila Jalisco is great and a very easy walk from the house!

Fabulous trip to Va beach. Weather was great to start and not so great to end. But everything one could want was in walking distance. Beach was wonderful. Snacks and local cocktails such a treat at check in!

FABULOUS rental. Property is extremely clean, and extremely quiet. You are one block from the beach entrance. amd one block of various restaurants and coffee shops. The Ft. Story / Cape Henry walking trail is two blocks away. If you bring your dog, BayLake has a fenced in dog park. Lisa had a welcome basket of snacks (much appreciated!) and local craft drinks waiting for us in the fridge. She even had snacks for our dog. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything imagineable. No matter what time of year you stay in Virginia Beach, you will not be disappointed with this rental.

House was perfect for the weekend and proximity to VWU. Very pet friendly including the play area in the rear of the property. Parking was a bit tight but mostly because other renters not parking in a polite manner.

Would have been awesome if the street didn’t flood and the electric didn’t go out. It’s a cute area close to the beach and restaurants. The place itself was very cozy and the host was very welcoming.

This is a wonderful home...so close to the beach! We felt so comfortable and appreciate all the amenities in the kitchen and bedrooms.

I stayed at this property for the weekend and couldn't be more satisfied with my stay. If you wanna take a 10-15min drive to the popular Virginia beach the drive was so easy or just walk a couple minutes to the beach that's down the street. The location of this house is great, the owner was fantastic, and the local food was delicious. I definitely recommend this property to a family or any couple.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was very accommodating, it had everything we needed. Being able to bring our dogs was a plus. There are many good restaurants and we tried many. Lisa was a great host.

The home was nice. A issue came up and it was addressed. Only thing I would recommend is the enforcement of cleaning up any dog waste in the shared fenced in yard

I had the privilege of staying at this amazing property for the second time and it was even better than my last visit! What I appreciate most are all the thoughtful touches—beach gear, bathrobes, and a host of things that made our stay so comfortable. Lisa is an amazing host and very responsive! Traveling with a family that ranges in ages from 4 to 81 and varied activity levels is certainly an adventure and at times challenging, but this location was perfect for my family. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Wonderful property!

The property was beautiful and clean, and the owner was easily reached with questions. I thought the check-out requirements were over the top (wash and put all dishes away; wash and return all beach towels -- and be out no later than TEN A.M.). The cost was too high, in my opinion, for doing the cleaning ourselves, and 10 a.m. gave us very little time to make sure everything is perfect by checkout.

Could not reccomend more! Perfect location walking distance to beach, restaurants, farmers market on Saturdays. House is very clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful weekend at the Bay Breeze on Red tide. The architecture was contemporary with all the appropriate appointments ! Lisa has a great sense of style and time and time again I found myself delighted with all the tasteful decor and also the extras that make you feel like you are in a truly special place. The refreshments provided were a nice surprise as well much needed after an afternoon drive to the area. The location is close to many restaurants and near the marina. And the beach is only a very short walk away. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return !

We had fabulous stay over Christmas. Great house, lots of amenities in the house that made to stay very easy, and eliminated need to go to store to get miscellaneous items!! Overall, great place!!

Property is spotless and very well appointed and even provided some extras other good rentals don’t offer. We were a bit challenging as our schedule changed and needed some additional accommodation that the host was more than gracious to provide. We walked to the stores, restaurants, and beaches and had a wonderful time.

The size and location of this rental was perfect for our birthday weekend get together. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and tableware. Unit was clean and well furnished. Host was quick to respond to any question we had. The short walk to beach was easy and well marked. The little welcoming touches elevated this unit from great to special.

This is our second time at this place. We love the cleanliness and comfort we have there for our family and dogs and the location. The peaceful, friendly residential neighborhood is terrific. The people are so nice, lots of pet friendly facilities and the proximity to the local beach is great! We will be back.

We had two parties in our group - adults and teens, and had a wonderful stay during Labor Day weekend. The home was extremely clean with plenty of towels and beach towels. We also walked to restaurants, the beach access, Food Lion, and Blue Cow ice cream. It was also very close to First Landing camping, so we could visit some friends. Overall a fantastic stay! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

This is such a cute beach house! Our family group was 4 adults plus 2 dogs. We stayed 2 nights but this place made me want to stay longer. Lisa has gone over the top to provide everything you might need-- from beach chairs/umbrella/towels/ bag/wagon, to doggie waste bags, laundry supplies, to qtips, cotton balls, full length mirror, and extendable magnifying mirror in the bathroom, to bathrobes with scented refreshment towelettes in the bedroom, to snacks and special local adult beverages in the kitchen. Those were so nice to have! We didn't do any cooking there but the kitchen was well stocked. The beds and large couch were comfy. The outdoor shower made it so convenient to wash off the dogs and beach equipment after a day at the beach. The house location is in a quiet neighborhood, approximately 5 driveways away from the public beach access for the bay. It's a very easy short walk. Just to say, there are approximately 7-10 wooden steps to walk down to the beach. The water was very calm and not deep which made it very enjoyable. The house is within walking distance of lots of restaurants, and the boardwalk is only a short drive away. Lisa responded quickly to any question I had and was accommodating for a special request. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this house to others..

Our stay was perfect. House was clean, lots of extras there when we arrived. Lisa made checking in as simple as it gets. It was perfect. So much great food within walking distance or very close! Beach was awesome. Definitely coming back!

We loved the location of this little rental- just a few steps to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay without all the chaos of the oceanfront resort area of Virginia Beach. The property was immaculate and fully stocked with all we needed for our stay. We appreciate being able to bring our pup with us - she loved the beach. The basket of snacks was a nice suprise on arrival. We hope to stay here again next time we are in Virginia Beach.

This unit is attached to 2 other units, which I did not realize from the listing. Not a problem except some noise from the neighbors at night. Overall, is a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Owner was very quick to respond when an issue arose during our stay, and remedied the situation ASAP.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property and will look to stay there again.
