Cozy couples retreat, dog friendly, 1 block to ocean or sound

Nice little spot. It's across the street from the ocean, clean, comfortable bed, everything you need in kitchen, washer and dryer on site, and dog friendly! I was only there a few days. But it was such a relaxing stay. I would stay again!!

Clean, pet-friendly place in North Topsail. Great for couples traveling with pets.

Our weekend stay was amazing. Everything was as advertised. The owner made the check in and check out process easy. The owner established a line of communication with me in the event I needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay and will book this place for future trips to the area.

The property was PERFECT for a quiet getaway, the owner Luke was great at communicating with us, and the beach is literally just across the street. We’ll definitely come back and also share how amazing this property is with friends and coworkers.

The property is set up very well to accommodate pets, in our case 1 dog.The property has a lower level that is open, but screened in with seating, shower, TV, lighting, and washer /dryer. The house itself is spacious enough for 2, and has everything you need. The front and rear patios would be nice for warm weather chilling.The only recommendation we have is to create the space to be more functionable by repositioning bed and TV. Removing the large leather sofa which was too large and very uncomfortable and replacing with maybe a wicker sofa and coffee table.These are just recommendations that would make for a more comfortable and functional stay.

We had an incredible time. The host was welcoming and the house was beautiful. Super quiet area this time of the year. Extremely glad we came.

The host was very amendable when we needed to reschedule due to a medical emergency. We were able still go on our trip a couple months later with our 2 dogs. We had a very relaxing time. Our accomodations were clean, had the immediate necessities if needed and the view was beautiful. Our dogs did cause a bit of a rukus when we went out to dinner without them but we did apologize to our neighbors who were very understanding. For a winter mini beach vacation it was perfect.

Sandpiper was everything I wanted and Luke was extremely fast in answering questions. He is extremely customer focused. Would stay again without reservation.

The place was small, but perfect for one person. I took my dog with me so everything was great for two people. It would even be wonderful. It was everything you needed.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Host was very kind, my flight was delayed and he was so understanding and let us stay beyond check out. Great experience!

Luke was such an amazing host! His apartment was so cozy and perfect for my husband, dog, and I to stay. Luke had anything and everything you can think of provided for a perfect beach stay. Short walk to the beach and near many restaurants.

Such a cute and cozy place! Super easy to access! Secluded enough to be a nice escape for my wife’s 30th birthday but also close enough to be able to do so many different things! The host Luke was absolutely the easiest to work with and the attention to detail that has been taken care of is something that other hosts should take note of! We really enjoyed staying here! My family used to come to Topsail every summer growing up. Now that I have my own family we have continued the tradition. This was the first time staying in North Topsail. It worked perfect for us and we greatly enjoyed the quiet and less crowded area. The house was great! We especially loved the downstairs screened in area with the couches and tv.

It was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were perfect. A little smaller than I thought, it was pretty cramped with just two. But it was still a very nice stay, super close to the beach.

Cozy and perfect for our short weekend stay

Another great stay at this cottage. We have stayed previously. Communication with the owner is always four stars. During this stay, we were greeted with a new floor, which makes the space feel larger and brighter. There were many other upgrades as well. Our pup always enjoys the gated deck. We love the screened in lounge area. We really enjoy the access to the beach, just across the street.

A perfect couples getaway plus dog. Quite area friendly neighborhood great and very responsive owners. It was everything we expected from the ad. We will definitely be back again in the future.

This was a wonderful retreat for our wedding anniversary, even more special because we got to bring our pup to the beach. The condo is clean and well stocked. Kim who cleans was so welcoming when we overlapped with her. There’s multiple beach public access points within walking distance, and you’re so close to the end of the island. We stayed two nights for a long weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

Everything was exactly as listed and labeled. I would recommend making a note for your guests as to where the beach access is located. Once we knew this, we were much better!

Perfect little bungalow for a little trip away. Loved the location and set up to accommodate pets. Not necessarily the most baby friendly (if you have a walking toddler), but the listing doesn’t advertise itself as so either to be fair. Great little spot if traveling with dogs!

Everything was perfect! The host was very communicative, and the cleaner was lovely.

Check in/out was a breeze, the unit was clean and well stocked with most everything you could need. Downstairs area is amazing for after the beach lounging. Could use a gas grill instead of charcoal. Other than that, 5 minute walk to beach, perfect for couples and we hope to stay again!

I found the house to be nice inside , nice screened area underneath . Grass needed mowing , and general exterior cleaning up. The ac had an issue , I left early but was contacted by the owner saying it was resolved . I just didn’t want to take the chance of it not being resolved .

Alot of first times on this vacation.1st time to Topsail, using vrbo, and taking our fur-babies on vacation. With that said everything was wonderful. Our host thought of every little detail. We were extremely impressed and will be planning another trip soon.

This place is nice and its close enough to the beach that you can hear the waves. I would definitely rent this place again

The house was cute. It is small but great for 1-2 people. It was easy walk to the beach. If you're looking for a laid back vibe, it's prefect. While not super close to a lot of places to eat, it was close enough to drive to. The house had pretty much all that you would need. Irecommend a dish drain

Definitely great place to stay. Just go by Lukes guide and you'll have an awesome time. Riverview cafe was our go-to for dinner both nights. Delicious food and great prices. Super close to everything.

A little small for us, but everything was in order.

Property was very clean. Luke was very respnsive and cooperative. It had pretty much all the supplies, even the ones that you wish that you brought but didn't. A lot of though was put into making it a good stay. The weather did cooperate, a bit chilly. Beach and ocean are always beautiful

Clean!!!! Several small details that didnt go unnoticed. Sad weather didnt allow us to utilize the porch area. Would recommend for a single or couple. Zero issues. Walked right across to the beach. Always appreciate a place we can take our dogs

The property was as advertised and host very easy to deal with. There was food in the refrigerator and a toothbrush in the bathroom. Other than that the unit was in a good area, clean, and easy to access.

Our second stay here was just as cozy and peaceful as the first. (reviewed July 1st) What I can add to that review is to emphasize how communicative the host is. We had a last minute change in plans. The host responded quickly to our request. They were very gracious in working with us . We would definitely book again.

Luke was excellent at communicating with us about our stay. We even got the privilege of meeting him upon check in. Location is about a 10-15 minute drive to the major stores/restaurants but there are a few local spots sprinkled along the path that were great. The drive was beautiful and worth it. Everything was so thought out, not only for us but for our dogs as well. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and chairs and beach items were included so it was super easy for us. We had neighbors with pets on one side of the home during our stay but we were pleasantly surprised how sound proof our space seemed, we didn’t hear a peep out of them. LOVED the space under the home, we spent a ton of time there and used the outdoor shower with ease. Would seek this space out if we return to the area in the future!

The communication was perfect from the host. The location is so close to the beach and other amenities. They provided comfort and everything we could have dreamed of on our stay. Definitely a lot for your worth and very home like!

We loved everything about our stay. The house is perfect. Close to everything. We love visiting the 4x4 orv access and we were so close to that. Public dock behind fire station was a great spot to fish as well. Will definitely be back again.

This little gem was amazing for a small family beach trip. With the intercoastal on one side and the beach on the other it was perfect for water lovers. The screened in downstairs was awesome for relaxing before bed. Love the hospitality and communication with the owner. Will definitely come again.
