Cozy cabin near all the attractions in the Heart of the Hills! Pet friendly!

Great cabin in the hills. Very nice and clean. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and patio furniture. Outdoor swing was a hit by all of us. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was very clean, very comfortable nicely, decorated, and close to everything that we were going to do couldn’t have asked for a nicer cabin.

Beautiful home in a very convenient location for everything in the Black Hills. The hosts had left a supply of thoughtful treats, including a bottle of local wine, which we appreciated It was very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area and would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous place in Custer! The location was perfect — so close to Sylvan Lake, the Wildlife Loop, and downtown Custer, right in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills.The home is beautifully updated, very clean, and had plenty of space for our family of four. Everyone had their own space to relax, which made the trip even more enjoyable. After long days exploring the Badlands and hiking in the Black Hills, we absolutely loved coming back to soak in the hot tub.The house truly had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our only minor wish was that the helicopter tour company next door offered discounted rates for guests because the rides were pretty expensive. But overall, everything about our stay was excellent, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The property was perfect for our stay in the black hills. Jack was very responsive and accommodating. The hosts provided more than expected items. The master bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The loft served us well as a game room. We also loved our outdoor fires in the firepit.

Excellent for our family of four! Owners communication was always quick and helpful. No concerns to note. Wish all vacation rentals were like this cute & cozy cabin!

This cabin completely MADE our mini vacation!!First off, Jack and Lindy are incredible hosts. We had contacted them with a question prior to arrival and Jack was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with all the essentials, and beautifully decorated. (I particularly appreciated the hand quillted pieces!) It is perfectly located between hill city and custer and made it very convenient for us to visit places in both cities as well as very close access to the state park. The cabin was such a warm and inviting place to come back to and we loved being able to hop in the hot tub!! We completely enjoyed every minute there and hope to stay again in the future!

The hit tub was very relaxing at the end of the day. There was everything we needed for our stay. There was enough toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap and fabric softener sheets.I highly recommend this property! It was clean and cozy.

The house was fantastic- from the patio out back, to the well-stocked kitchen (and welcome gift!), to the awesome hot tub, to the super comfy beds. The decor was very updated and stylish. The location was super handy for exploring the Black Hills. Jack was very quick to reply to texts.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Simply awesome in every way. Located very close to Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Not far from Rapid City, either.

This is one of the nicest rentals I have stayed at while in the hills. The location is great. It has everything you look for in a rental. Clean, big nice size bedrooms. The beds felt like new mattresses. The hot tub was a great end to the day. I will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone headed to the hills.

Clean, clean, clean! We called this place our home for nearly a full week, and I cannot say enough positive things about it! We were highly satisfied with everything from check in to check out. The location worked well because we were able to ride the UTV trails around both Custer and Hill City, and the home is located in between the two. Jack and Lindy had even put together a little welcome package of snacks and wine and had it placed on the kitchen table upon our arrival! It was a clean and cozy place to stay, and we hope to be back soon! We highly recommend staying here!

The place was wonderful. The house felt like home the entire time there. We are enjoyed the stay including our dogs.

This place is beautiful and the amenities are all there. Well stocked with silver ware dishes and glasses. And the host is extremely quick to communicate and they insist you just leave at the end. No “strip the beds and put it in the wash” or “do the dishes “. NOOOO. They actually want you to just enjoy yourself. Outstanding ! Best place I have ever rented.

Loved our home away from home! Liked that the house was tucked away from the main road. They had everything that you would need and more! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great after sightseeing all day. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to visit in the area but the flip side to being so close to the highway was the traffic noise. We didn’t realize when we booked it that it was literally right off the highway so the noise made it tough to sleep in the master bedroom which fronts to the road. We appreciated the spices, condiments and propane the owners provided to cook at home. Thank you!

We came to bike the Michelson Trail, which runs right behind the property. Easy to jump on and bike in either direction. We enjoyed the back deck and fire pit and grill at the end of the day. The location is super convenient for all Black Hills adventures. Super close to Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore.

We loved staying here (and so did our dog)! The house was spotless, well equiped and in a very central location. The owners communicated quickly and clearly and were very accomodating. The outside area was shady and private. A special place in a beautiful spot!!!

A wonderful cabin well located near Custer, South Dakota. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great and it was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we could want. All of the information we needed was available and well organized. Highly recommended!

Brought our family up for a quick Easter weekend trip. The property was in a perfect location for all the family attractions. It was a really “homey” cabin with all the blankets, pillows, and decorations. Hottub was in perfect condition and a great way to end our evenings. Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home in Custer, SD! The house was spotless and clearly well-maintained, with a layout that was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the setup made it easy to spend time together while still having some privacy. The location couldn’t have been better—close to town, yet peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It made the perfect home base for exploring the Black Hills. Highly recommend for anyone planning a family trip to the area!

This was the perfect place for us to stay on our week away during spring break. We stayed with my parents as well as our children, 3 and 6 y/o. There is plenty of space and the loft is great for a little separation when needed (our kids spent some time drawing and doing crafts upstairs). The hot tub is lovely, kitchen is nicely stocked with supplies. They really have thought of everything - plenty of towels, night lights, extra toiletries, games, lots of blankets. Jack was great at communicating and even came by to clear snow off of the driveway and porches. Cabin is cozy, close to Custer and Hill City as well as Mount Rushmore and the wildlife loop. We were able to visit Reptile Gardens which was great for our little ones and an easy drive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable cabin, either for just a small family or with extended family.

So clean, so cozy, so perfect! Our group enjoyed our stay so much. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The beds were great, not too soft & not too firm. Everything was perfect!

The house was very nice, clean and well maintained. We planned our trip around hiking Black Elk Peak, and this location was just a short drive over to Sylvan lake and the trailhead. We loved coming back and relaxing in the hot tub. It is also a nice quick drive into town where we enjoyed walking around and eating at local restaurants. Our kids loved the loft, and enjoyed playing some of the games at the house. Would love to stay here again next time we come to Custer.
