The cottage is charming and comfortable, with peaceful surroundings near Birmingham.Golfing was a highlight – nearby courses like Oxmoor Valley offered pristine fairways and mild weather for relaxing rounds. The food scene impressed with authentic Southern barbecue, fresh seafood, and must-try peach cobbler at local spots.The locals were incredibly welcoming, sharing tips and treating this up-north visitor like family. It's an ideal spot for folks seeking sun, great eats, and friendly vibes for a couple weeks.Highly recommend for a rejuvenating break!Rating: 5/5 Stars

Stayed Sep 13, 2025This was a great stay. Everything was very clean and comfy and had everything you need. We were traveling with our dogs and loved having the small fenced in grass area and BIG yard to walk them around in with lots of shade and places to relax. Appreciated the black-out curtains to be able to sleep in a bit on vacation, big shower with good hot water, comfy furniture, extra blankets, two porches, full kitchen with all you need to cook. Cold air, fast wifi with 2 smart TVa, snacks and ice cubes and K-cups, lots of little considerations to make you feel right at home. The auto lock on the door was nice, hosts were responsive on the app but gave us total privacy. No close neighbors (aside from the other cute tiny house rental on the same property) and a quick easy drive to I20. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
