Stayed Aug 15, 2025We had a terrific time at the bow house! This unique architectural gem is spacious and clean & cozy. The location in the woods was lovely-- very quiet and surrounded by nature. The host is very communicative and everything was in perfect shape for our visit: comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, amazing hot tub, and modern bathrooms and appliances. We also recommend Vermont Bike and Brew Tours to those who are looking for something to do nearby. They set us up with e-bikes and we enjoyed 25 miles of incredible vistas and backroads of the Upper Valley.

Stayed Nov 24, 2019Great Mountain views, especially from the hot tub. Open layout on each of the 3 floors with exposed woodwork of the unique “bow” house shape. Nice accommodations for a relaxing getaway, with a fenced in area for our dogs to explore. Short drive to great restaurants and amenities. Great communication from owners.

Stayed Jul 28, 2019We just spent 2 weeks at the Bow House. Our sons and their wives joined us the first week and we found the house to be cozy yet accommodating to our numbers. The house is well-stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Jenn is a responsive host and has given a lot of thought about the details that make your stay pleasant, right down to supplying jig saw puzzles for a rainy day. Our dog enjoyed the large fenced-in yard. We would definitely recommend the Cozy Bow House!

Stayed Jul 25, 2019We were in town for a reunion in Lyme and a few of us stayed here. The place was beautiful and we all enjoyed it. Especially the hot tub. When we had a few questions the owners got back to us right away. My only comment was that the noise travels through the house. However, this would not preclude us for renting again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This beautiful bow house was everything we were hoping for and more! The views are breathtaking and the house is amazing as well! It was a wonderful, relaxing first time visiti to Vermont and the host, Jen, was extremely friendly and so helpful in making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely keep this retreat in mind for our future travels.
