This large, beautiful and fully renovated home was once the main lodge for a girls camp with lake frontage and lake and mountain views, as well as a large screened dining porch and many rooms.

The storied, elegant and beautifully appointed home dates back to the 19th Century and has 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, game room, bar, living room, library, and a galley kitchen with sitting and dining area, as well as a stunning great room with views.

Facing west, the much-loved home has wonderful light. A large upstairs porch can be used for sleeping or lounging and the screened porch can seat 12 for meals.

The lakefront is a five-minute walk across a meadow and down a secluded wooded path where kayaks await. The property also has a small pond for chasing frogs and plenty of lawn. A pool table and bar in the game room leave no shortage of activities for guests. Come stay at this former girls camp and enjoy an elegant piece of Fairlee history.

Absolutely stunning home on a bluff overlooking Lake Fairlee in tranquil, beautiful Vermont. Well-equipped kitchen, ample room for 10 family members with comfortable, beautifully-furnished and decorated common rooms that provide space for smaller groups and quiet conversation. A rec room on the lower level was popular with the youngsters. Robust internet.

The perfect place for a family reunion. Beautiful house, amazing grounds, and wonderful lake fun for adults and little ones alike. Plenty of room for all 10 of us, ages 2 months to 77 years. We ate on the screened porch each night and watched the colorful balloon lift off over the lake and drift away in the breeze. The 3-5-year-olds loved the swimming, kayaking, and fishing, as well as biking on the quiet road. The more adventurous biked all the way around the lake. Everything worked . . . well, except the blender, but that might have been our failure. Oh how we wish we could do it every year. Maybe we will!

We stayed at this home for a week in June 2015 for a family graduation and reunion. It is exactly as lovely as the pictures indicate, with every room beautifully decorated. We were able to host two large family dinners with ease using the well-equipped kitchen. There are two king sized beds so you can choose between first or second floor master if you have accessibility issues. The screened-in porch is enormous and a great eating and entertaining venue. Once you are in one of the three hammocks, you don't want to get out. The views are beautiful and the setting is very tranquil. Take the walk down to the dock on the lake--it is worth it! Owners are a pleasure to deal with.
