Stayed May 30, 2026Wanda and Cathy were amazing hosts. Very responsive and sending updates before we even arrived. It was the perfect property for our family of five. It accommodated us all with no issues. The walk to the beach was brisk and not bad at all. The beach access was not busy and felt like we had our own private beach.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! Cathy was an amazing host and very communicative. The cottage had all the amenities and things we needed. From towels and linens to central AC, internet, and paper products. Short walk to the beach with our two children and lots of places to eat nearby. The beach was peaceful and the boardwalk across the street was amazing for watching the sun go down. Our kids even loved the outdoor shower. Would highly recommend!!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025Great rental- all the essentials so didn’t have to pack all Our beach stuff, linens, and efficient for a short stay when we planned a trip late in the season. South topsail road is busy so a little sketchy walking on it with little Kids but appreciated the firmly locking gate across top of the steps of the porch. Liked being across from the marsh boardwalk and little park with swings too. Host is readily available and responsive!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025First time staying in Surf City ! Family of 4! Location was perfect and close to everything! Walk to beach is only a few minutes wasn’t bad at all ! House and front porch were perfect for our family had everything we needed and very clean ! Can’t wait to come again !

Stayed May 23, 2025Property is in good shape. Doors stick, The kitchen needs a few more utensils to be complete.A dish washer would be a good start. Ease of access for someone with physical handicap not so good. Traffic was a pain from 3pm to 6pm , im not sure why. I would give this property an 8 out of 10. We enjoyed our stay
