Stayed Jul 30, 2021Property was nice on inside. Outside needed some lawn care. It was not disclosed that property was on heavily used round about. We picked area thinking it would be quiet, wrong.

Stayed Jan 23, 2021This nice little cottage was right in town. Easy access to main road, groceries and a local diner. Having laundry during my stay was swell bonus.

Stayed May 3, 2026Clean, cute, great location and host. I was solo traveler but this place would be great for a family. Comfortable and room for some fun. I was working and an ample desk really helped me out. Host was very quick with communication. Thank you for a great spot!

Stayed Jul 16, 2025The house was comfortable with lots of room. However there were a couple of items that needed attention.The front door was misaligned or warped so it took unusual effort to close.Both of the mattresses needed replacement as they sagged in the middle.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024Our stay was a great experience, comfy, quiet, clean. The hosts go above and beyond with an offering of a deck of cards, lots of board games, snacks, etc. My one frustration was having to pay for insurance for a one evening stay. This increased the price more than 25%.

Stayed Jan 19, 2024Property was good. The host were super easy and very accommodating. I personally not a fan of the lay out of house but it was good place to stay. House color does not match the online picture which was confusing but easy to find. I would stay again.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023Will definitely look into staying again when needing somewhere in Big Lake. Only complaint is non optional damage deposit. It was just my mom and I and we were at the property only about 12 hours due to activities we were in town for, no chance to damage anything and still had to pay.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023We rented this VRBO as we were in Big Lake for a wedding. The place was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen with lots of other great features. The master bed was very comfortable, laundry facilities, Keurig and also a regular coffee maker. Shower had great water pressure. It was close to the grocery store, which was very convenient. The owners are very responsive and helpful. One thing to remember is to turn on the lights before walking through the living room to the bedroom, which is a step down, which we didn't see in the dark. So, just watch your step. (It is all in one big room.) Some traffic noise due to the house being next to the roundabout on the main stretch of road. We enjoyed our stay and loved all the games that were available.
