Great experience. Clean. Modern. Everything worked.

This is a smaller, older home with some nice updates. It is clean, everything works well and the beds are comfortable. The area around the property has many older homes with some new construction. It is an easy walk to ALDI, Walgreens etc.The landlord was very helpful and responsive when we had questions.

Once code received, we were able.to follow directions emailed to us. Place was clean and convenient and we were all generally satisfied. AC clicked on lower than needed and we had to call for the code to unlock it. The response was quick.Minor issues that are fixable:1. Front door unlocked itself twice while we were sitting in living room but was locked every time we returned to house. It made several other noises theoughout the day. Thinking battery low.2. Washer stops on its own before/during rinse cycle. Have to manually move dial to rinse/ spin for it to complete full cycle.3. Back door to outside washer/dryer has no door sweep to seal out bugs or air from coming in. Can see through gap. Found several bugs and ants in kitchen but it is florida... cant expect zero. 4. No drawer space in rooms for clothes that you wouldnt hang. Lived out of luggages on floor as there was no where to put them off the ground. Didnt feel comfortable leaving luggage open on the floor due to the bugs found. Luckily for only 3 days. However, i do the same in hotels for the same reason, if there isnt a luggage rack to rest it on.All in all it did fit our general needs, we are technically inclined, so we were ok.

We arrived late into Ft Lauderdale and did not get to the house until 1:30am. On the front door was a digital lock and we had the code. We put it in 3 different times and the door did not open. It locked us out and we waited for 30 minutes and tried it again. The locking system would not allow us to try again so I had to get a room at the Hampton in at 2:30am for 350. I came back at 7:00 am to try the door again and it was still in lock out mode. The owner read my text and called me and attempted to unlock it remotely but that failed also. They had a key box that they told me I could get a key from and that let me in. I did ask since the system locked me out for the rest of the night if I could get a refund for the first night since I had to rent a room at the Hampton. They refused and I will not be returning to that home again.

Property was clean as a whistle. Host was extremely responsive. Furniture and beds and linens were all nice and clean.For info - there are no lamps, so only lighting is the overhead fixtures and ceiling fans. Also, there is no dishwasher. The neighborhood is a bit hit and miss with some older houses and some newer houses. Location is good, only about five minutes to federal, which has nice restaurants, and less than 15 minutes to the beach.
