Cozy 3 bedroom house close to Mckennan Park, shopping and downtown entertainment

The property was updated, beds were comfortable. However, the cleanliness of the house was not up to my standards.

While visiting a friend in Sioux Falls, four of us stayed at this great home. It was very clean and the location was perfect for us.

Stayed here with two friends for a long weekend and we loved it! Property was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Having two full sized bathrooms was great. The host was really nice and responded quickly when we had questions.

Furnished with everything we needed. Updated home. Plenty of space. Bathrooms showers/tub needed some deep cleaning. Kitchen sink and refrigerator need cleaning. Other than that everything else was clean. Home located on a main street, but that doesn’t bother us. Good communication with host.

PHENOMENAL host and extremely comfortable stay.

The listing is fairly accurate. It sleeps six, but it only has four kitchen table chairs! We used the ottoman as a chair. It does have a top quality Weber BBQ, but it was out of gas. When I opened the doors to turn on the tank, the left door fell off. Rusted out! The drip tray mechanism was missing, and a portion of the heat shield was loose. Once I got propane, the grill worked satisfactorily. We did hamburgers and chicken thighs, but BBQ utensils could not be found. Used tongs and a spatula from the kitchen. The base is very rusty, and whole unit should be replaced. The towels were very soft. They had so much softener on them that they did not pick up water very well. Kitchen was fully equipped. The TV was smart but did not have any connections to the local channels. I wanted to watch the Olympics but could not. Someone had left their login information for Youtube so we made use of it. I talked to the property manager about this. I was very disappointed in the help that was given. Where I live, broadband is not available so I have no streaming services to use. I'd suggest that you get a local streaming service so the local channels can be used. The plastic bolt holding the seat on the basement toilet broke. Probably over-tightened. 26th Street is very busy. The backyard had 6 tall weeds when I arrived on Thursday. Someone mowed it on Friday. The basement egress window boxes have lots of weeds. I would rent this again, but I would know the shortcomings.

The place was wonderfully taken care of. Looked recently updated and beautiful. So many nice touches of shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent and towels. The beds were really comfortable with great pillows and sheets. The only things we struggled with was the bed in the basement was only a double. The others were bigger, but we took that one for our daughter and her husband could have rooms by their kiddos. And we could have used more than two rolls of toilet for the whole house, but we figured all the other wonderful things made up for it. The extra family room down stairs was nice to hang out in and was fun for the kids to run around a little between naps. Definitely a great place with all the needed appliances, kitchen gadgets and ice and water dispenser on the fridge. The host immediately responded to a couple questions we had. Well worth the stay.

What a great spot to stay in Sioux Falls! We were traveling for our daughters competitive softball team and choose this location. Not only was it super close to both ball fields, the property was also centrally located to all the things you may want to see or do while in Sioux Falls! No drive was over 16 minutes and we did lots. We had a small snafu on our arrival, but our hosts were super quick to respond and equally quick to remedy whatever we needed. The house is great, with lots of room to move and obvious attention to small details to keep it very nice and up to date. The owners have loads of stuff on hand for your use and convenience. Things to know…the street is super busy so consider backing in to get out of the driveway easier. The front bedroom faces that busy street so make sure the person in that room is a heavy sleeper or bring their ear buds. Otherwise, the street noise was very much a non issue. We had zero problems with it. Would 100% recommend!
