Stayed Sep 17, 2025Was fairly clean, a bit outdated, slower wifi, pet friendly, amazing location walkable to beach but very loud due to shaking ground from construction and taco bell steps away. Fenced yard is great. We preferred the upstairs unit which we appreciated (yard is bigger). Blankets and towels smelled, as they do in rentals (unlike hotels who bleach and thoroughly clean). Likely due to using the W/D locally vs using a heavier duty cleaning solution or something. To note, we had no W/D in unit. Host was responsive but our biggest issue is that there is a window inside the shower with no blinds or option for the curtains. There is a one way film on the window but it definitely doesn't work. We checked from outside and I held up numbers on my fingers and my husband could read them every time and see me clearly. We told the host and he offered to replace the film with a new one but we were not comfortable with more film as a solution. Host said it was because there wasn't a building facing it, but a wide open window in such a public place was incredibly uncomfortable. We showered in the dark every night to avoid being seen naked which was not ideal. Highly recommend adding blinds or a curtain as an option for those who are more conservative or don't want to shower directly by a window. Appreciate the Host but disappointed with our experience overall. If that were fixed and the unit was more updated, we may consider staying again. For the price, it was much less than we expected.

Stayed Sep 5, 2025Overall the property and stay was nice, especially for our dogs! The location was a little crazy, as it faces a Taco Bell drive thru. Made for some interesting people watching though. I wouldn't stay here alone as a female, but would definitely stay here again with friends or a significant other.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025The location was a good spot. The home needs some basic items to make a stay more enjoyable. A broom and dustpan at the top of my list since this is a beach house. As careful as you are you still drag in sand. Having no way of sweeping that up during our stay was aggravating. Extra blankets for the fifth sleeper. Having to go purchase a blanket was not something we should have to do. If you say you can sleep five then you should have extra blankets and pillows. The house had no scissors either. After purchasing a blanket we had to use a knife to cut through all the tags. Having scissors would have been very helpful. Maybe a drying rack inside the study. We used the outside for beach towels but with 5 showering we had bath towels needing to dry. That is just a suggestion. The place had hardly any silverware to eat with, and only a few glasses. We ate out a lot due to this reason. Can’t make stuff at the place to feed five when we only have 3 forks. I would also suggest separating the trash and recycling from the other unit. We went to empty all our trash to find both cans full from the other unit. Letting us know when trash day is would also be helpful on the information left inside the home. These rentals are suppose to be like a home and convenient compared to a hotel. Our stay would have been great if we had a few of the items suggested above.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025We had a great time in Jax Beach and the apartment was very nice. Only a couple of blocks from the beach - about an 8 minute walk. Close to restaurants, bars and the pier. I was concerned about the Taco Bell being right next door but it was fine and no noise when inside the house. Yard was great for our dogs. Even though we had an issue w our reservation, Zach was awesome and worked with us and we worked it out. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025We had an awesome time here! It was the perfect place for my wife and I to visit with our dogs. The private backyard was fantastic for letting them run around for some exercise. Steps away from many restaurants and the beach. Absolutely would stay again!

Stayed Mar 12, 2025We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Zac’s communication before and upon arrival. The place was very clean and many useful amenities had been provided. The location is great in that it is not far from the beach but you do need to cross A1A to get there. Good thing is it’s just one short block to a crosswalk. However being close to the road and a few nearby businesses, we had two nights which were quite noisy. We had gorgeous beach weather every day (mid March) .
