Coveside - 3 bed 2 bath Oceanview in Surry, Maine near Acadia Natl Park

This was such a lovely place to stay in Maine. The house was so comfortable and well appointed. It suited our family of four perfectly.

The kitchen was very well laced out and stock with just about anything you need. The whole place was very clean and very spacious.

It provided a nice quiet end to busy days. It was supplied with everything that we needed for our stay. We found the location to work for our vacation needs. We would certainly recommend Coveside to others.

Coveside is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a very comfortable home. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals during our stay. The house is clean and well maintained. Coveside is close to Perry’s Lobster Co. and Pugnuts Ice Cream Shop, both are excellent! The house is also close to Acadia National Park which we enjoyed as well. We would love to return to Coveside!

A definite 5 star property. Clean, well furnished and stocked with anything you might need. You felt you were in a well-cared for home. I would certainly have no hesitation to staying at property again if we revisited the area.Property manager quickly responded to any questions.We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maine.

Well maintained home and stocked with convenient supplies for travelers. Appreciated the location and loved having my morning coffee on the deck watching the tides.

Loved it - only thing is the pictures looked like there was a walking path around the waters edge but it wasn’t- we did find some beautiful hikes in some nearby reserves. Would definitely recommend. Our ages ranged from 68 -75 for 4 of us. It would be great for a family because of the game room down stairs.

A beautiful home. Great space and true to the pictures. There was a yellow jacket nest in between the deck floor boards. I contacted the number listed and it was taken care of in a timely manner.

The house was in a good location for us to go different directions each day and stay out of the tourist congestion. Easy drive to Acadia etc. the house was great it had everything we needed and was very comfortable for relaxing at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Coveside in Surry. The house was clean and well stocked with all we needed. The large dining table was a great place to eat meals as well as play games and work puzzles. Both the den and the deck were great places to gather and relax. There was a nice game room downstairs, but we didn't use it much because we stayed busy sightseeing in the area. The house is about 35-45 minutes from Acadia National Park and we visited the park several times while we were there. We also enjoyed the towns of Blue Hill and Ellsworth. We would definitely recommend staying at Coveside!

The house was beautiful and it was a central location to explore Maine !

We had a great stay at Coveside and were happy with the accommodations and cleanliness of the property! The patio furniture was a bit dirty but easy to clean off and use. The path down to the water was also overgrown, but overall it was a great experience and would recommend.

Clean and spacious, comfortably furnished and nicely equipped. No time to Ellsworth for groceries, restaurants etc. Secluded feeling without being too far off the beaten path. We would recommend it

This was our second time visiting Coveside and it is just as we remembered! The house and property are beautiful. The place was spotless when we checked in and everything is so comfortable and well laid out. We had fantastic weather and spent a lot of time on the deck admiring the view. Cheri is a great host and Coveside is definitely a keeper!

This home had everything we needed to make our family vacation great! Close to Bar Harbor and touristy shopping, close to wonderful hikes, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time sitting on the deck with beautiful views! Lots of games; accessories for young children and toddlers; and the layout was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coveside! The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed mornings on the porch and walks down to the water. It was an easy drive into Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor. The host was very helpful and communicative at all times. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We had a fantastic time here. So clean and stocked with everything. They even brought us a bed for a baby to sleep in! Convenient to the park. We didn’t want to leave!

We had a very special stay in Surry. We have taken our summer vacation in Maine for more than a decade, and this property had some of the best features we have experienced. It is quiet and secluded. We found it to be very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked. The king bed in the master bedroom is a relative rarity and was the most comfortable one I have slept in. The location of the property is terrific - it is at the proximal end of Newbury Neck, such that the drive to Blue Hill or MDI is much shorter than when staying further down the Neck. The wifi was fast and reliable and the television was crisp and clear with many options. Even details such as the towels were fantastic. We aim to return!

Family of 6 adults stayed for a week. So comfortable, so easy. About a 45 minute ride to Acadia. Town of Ellsworth had any supplies we needed (or didn’t!). Our own private paradise. Book it!
